The main idea here is to get the Drowner of Secrets , Merrow Commerce , and a whole lot of other merfolk on the field, then promptly start eroding the enemy's library at rattling speeds. Upon achieving this I once had the option to mill for a potential seventy-five cards in a single turn (twenty-five merfolk on the field, including three Merrow Commerce s, on turn seven), more than enough to commit any foe to a speedy death. I've also now mainboarded the Lantern of Insight because the control that it offers over my opponent's topdeck has proved invaluable in basically every match I've used it in online.

That said, milling isn't this deck's only win condition and even if you do ultimately win by milling you can still get into all kinds of crazy shenanigans along the way. The Judge of Currents can send your life total through the roof while the Stonybrook Schoolmaster and Summon the School can allow you to accumulate a veritable army of wizard tokens boasting counters supplied by the Sage of Fables .

Thoughts on the sideboard are always appreciated, it's under revision once again.
