This is a complete re-working of the previous version.

The earlier version depended on creating a dramatic win by using Temur Battle Rage and Slip Through Space with either the Kiln Fiend or Nivix Cyclops. Add one more instant/sorcery for a single mana and you have a big, in your face kill.

The problems I faced were several. First, I found Assault Strobe was better most of the time than Temur Battle Rage, simply because generally speaking, the attack was unblocked and trample was wasted.

More importantly though, I found that all too often I sat on cards like Mutagenic Growth or Slip Through Space while waiting to do something, trying to get that next card, or trying to replace the creature my opponent removed. While the deck was impressive when it worked, more often than not I struggled to get many wins.

This updated version removes all of the spells that specifically targeted my own creatures and replaces them with burn/counter spells. Burn doubles as both a way to remove creatures that get in the way and also as a direct damage threat. Counter helps keep me from losing ground.

While the creatures don't pose as big of a threat in this update, they still contribute enough of a threat to keep my opponent on the defensive. The dual threat of burn and creatures works much better than the singular creature approach did for me.

I still need to make some improvements. Mid-game struggles include not enough card draw (maybe more Opt and Serum Visions), and the Young Pyromancer isn't quite enough for the sideboard to deal with fast aggro.

The selection of creatures is still in progress. While I really like prowess, I am considering trading in some Enigma Drake and Delver of Secrets   for some flying power. Also, I really want to put Bedlam Reveler into the deck, but I don't actually have the cards yet.

Any advice is much appreciated. I think the card selection is working quite well, but something is still lacking.
