Possessing two abilities, and a keyword, that synergize with each other; Grismold is a terrific option when selecting a commander for this deck. The ability to gain a +1/+1 counter whenever a creature token dies appears limited at first glance; yet in concert with Grismold's ability to create creature tokens, and the keyword trample, Grismold becomes the most likely candidate to win the game using commander damage. Card's like Avenger of Zendikar and Mycoloth, when used with a sacrifice outlet, provide huge damage boosts; while other cards such as Tendershoot Dryad and Verdant Force now enable a pillow-fort like play-style.
