Deckling -
Started playing in the 90's after my brother brought some cards home, given by friend of his. Most of it was draft chaft, acquired from that one's brother (I think).
As before, most of it was draft chaft, a lot of Chronicles and Starter 1999 and the like. The art always stuck with me and was a bit more influential than the game itself.
Scars/Innistrad block is when I count it when I really started playing, but there's been gaps some years since then.
2019 was when I moved across the country on a whim to be with someone special. It wasn't long after that when we picked up a few standard precons (back when those were still a thing...), figured it would just be something fun to play that weekend. It ended up being far more than just that weekend lol, we both got majorly into it again.
Years later, MTG is a huge thing we bond over and still love to play. We both love building decks especially.
Much of what we play now is a house rules variant of Commander, which we call "Vizier." Pretty similar, but with a planeswalker in addition to the commander (hence, Vizier).
One day I'll get around to posting the rules for that since most of my decks are built with that in mind.

Lore: anything with the Elder Dragons (the real elder dragons, not those posers from Strixhaven), those old Armada comics, anything Alara
I've been working on a challenge to build an EDH deck of every colour or colour pairing. This is a long way off from being complete seeing as it involves constructing over 30 decks and I do get sidetracked with building more decks in the pairings I already like a lot (Rakdos, Grixis, Mardu especially). Most of my decks start out as being highly casual or cheap, some are gradual adaptations of precon EDH decks that get upgrades over time, some started out as 60-card kitchen table. I'll get there eventually...
Getting all of my completed decks on here (slowly) and into the drop down below where they will be sorted by colour. If any are actual WIPs, I will have some mention of that as well, though most of those are private until playable.

To be honest, I hate playing mono white, and no, not just in "white sucks in EDH." I just don't find white as a whole to be very fun or interesting to play, especially on its own.
If I ever build a mono-white deck it's just to serve some other enjoyable purpose, like being a collection of cards from an artist or something like mono white dragons if there's ever enough to warrant that.
Not even remotely settled on a commander for blue. I really like artifacts, especially jankier stuff revolving around them. A few that have piqued my interest for that are Emry, Lurker of the Loch and much as I hate to admit it, Urza, Lord High Artificer
, leaning towards the latter including Emry as part of the 99.
Ertai, Wizard Adept is another that looks interesting, would be a very different style of play than I normally go for.

I would way have more mono black decks if the bulk of my mono black cards weren't already in decks.
- Tinybones, Trinket Thief is one I've been meaning to build around though
- Ob Nixilis, Unshackled was another, but can't have every version of him in one deck with it being mono colour anymore.

Now I love the red decks. Like black though, my red cards tend to be in decks and pickings are slim lol.
Been working on a Grunn, the Lonely King deck for a while. Theme is no creatures in a mono green deck, hence why he's lonely.
I've thought about building around Karn, Silver Golem *oversized* but already have a Esper deck with all of the Karns.
For now I'm mostly on the lookout for a colourless legendary of interest that does not exist yet.
A deck for each guild is a long way off from being finished, most are WIPS.

Still tinkering around with this deck, it could stand to run more smoothly, but I often opt for cards that fit the Lab Rats theme over things that might be better.
This deck is mostly a pile of cards right now lol. It will eventually have more of a demon theme.
Tetsuo Umezawa - This was a gift! I have a bunch of ideas in mind for this one. He might go into some other decks for a bit before I build around him since I'd like to see what comes out in Dominaria United and Kamigawa Neon Dynasty.
Kess, Dissident Mage - centered around the Poppet Stitcher. Might rule 0 this one and give them partner. Goal of the deck is to create as many poppets as possible.
Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor - this card looks so fun to build around, but it is very much on the back burner for Grixis decks

I've been working on a Breya, Etherium Shaper deck for something like two years, but it's been so back-burner of a deck that I keep taking cards out of it for other decks. Who knows when I'll actually finish it.
Extremely casual Kenrith, the Returned King five colour deck is getting close to being done. I know he's one of the "meta" commanders, but this deck is a bit of a tribute to The 10th Kingdom, a somewhat obscure fantasy miniseries from 2000.
I don't think this deck will be horrible, but it is nowhere near typical of most Kenrith decks. What's keeping it from being finished is finding some better fits for some of the characters and getting a land base that runs consistently enough.
