Deckling -

A Dimir / Golgari mage that loves to ride the fine line between flavor and function. The best way for me to pack as much aesthetic into a deck is of course Commander/EDH, but I do dabble in Modern on occasion.

Call me a hipster, but I believe Commander was at its best before WotC started heavily leaning into it, flooding us with staples and must-play cards. Give me a janky creative deck over a pile of goodstuff any day.

I have an unhealthy obsession with Talismans and a fascination with symmetrical mana bases. Remember kids, don't cut lands.

Last_Laugh: Thanks for the comment. In fact I have seen (and upvoted) your deck before.

I have played around with Kardur in this deck once, but he was cut for one reason or another. Maybe it's time to reassess.

Mimic is a good idea, I didn't think of that one. Graftmage is pretty cool too.

I haven't looked too much at newer cards in the context of this deck, but I can definitely see the appeal of Plumb and Seize.
