We officially have our first Conspiracy: Take the Crown card!

Planeswalker - Kaya
0: Exile Kaya, Ghost Assassin or up to one target creature. Return that card to the battlefield under its owner's control at the beginning of tour next upkeep. You lose 2 life.
-1: Each opponent loses 2 life and you gain 2 life.
-2 Each opponent discards a card and you draw a card.

I'm always late to theorise something, so how about this. While I'm not the best at mtg finance, the burgeoning reprint is surely going to upset the speculators who spiked the price half a year ago. I assume that it was speculators because the price randomly spiked $20. Tbf I wouldn't expect such a reprint either.
Damn, the set isn't on magic online. That means that a wonderful person who works on another website delivering us sweet, janky combos can't get his hands on Spy Gear.

smackjack, the closest thing I've found as an explanation for MTGO players is this tweet saying "Some cards will be available through other means".
"Other means" is probably cube prize packs like they did with the Commander cards. I'm a a lot more concerned about precisely what "Some cards" means though. Hopefully all the new cards will get released and it's just the reprints that will be missed but either way I would expect the supply to be pretty low and anything constructed playable to be expensive as hell.
Also, no time-scale as to when we might expect the cards to be released, which is annoying.

Stunt double is rocking! Same cmc as clone, but with flash is pretty sweet. Going into Riku of the two reflections clone decks for sure.

In the cards section of the site, it says the new commander set comes out November 11, but I'm not sure if that's correct.
As for the Body Double, I'm definitely putting in my Momir Vig deck. A flashy clone is just what the deck needs. And Selvala is good too, depending on the right deck. Group hug maybe?

Selvala is ridiculous. It's really easy to get infinite mana with her. Umbral Mantle, Sword of the Paruns, and Staff of Domination will do it, the former alone, the others with a strong enough creature or pump on Selvala.
Outside of infinite, she also just ramps super hard. Like having a better Viridian Joiner in the zone.
Forest, Llanowar Elves, Forest, Selvala, Forest, 5-drop, probably draw. Or 3-drop, maybe draw, 2+ drop off Selvala. That looks like a pretty strong and reasonably consistent opening for mono green Commander.
She also gives a little draw to mono green, which is nice, and probably negligible if you're playing her as a combo general because the deck should be very fast.

I very much like that they are giving clones flash. Remember back in 2011 and 2012 when clones were all over the place? Their power level just couldn't keep up but maybe we'll see more now. (Talking EDH)

Selvala's good. She's also a good way to put a massive target on your back. Everyone will hate you if you try to go infinite T4. There's also new spoilers.
Question time: Why does a captain of the guard reward you for whacking everyone, even those who are leaving you alone or helping you? Ugh. That could be more Dimir than Boros.

There is a Barren Glory in Mortal Combat. Changed by a Near-Death Experience, the Laboratory Maniac used his Battle of Wits, but all was not a sure victory. The Epic Struggle lasted a fortnight, but the Test of Endurance proved that the Coalition Victory would come to a Maze's End.
You may have won once, but by my count, I won 9.

Perhaps you chose to walk through that Door to Nothingness to find that Darksteel Reactor. Maybe you found a Helix Pinnacle instead? I bet you spoke to Azor's Elocutors recently, who have been stalling your Hellkite Tyrant. Maybe you had a Chance Encounter with fate? Have you heard of Mayael's Aria? I bet you said Now I Know My ABC's.

What about the new Selvala? I've been trying to brainstorm a deck with her at the helm, but all I'm getting is regular green stompy/goodstuff. If that can't be solved, no worries; she's already guaranteed a slot in my Yisan deck anyway.
Oh, and by the way...
I would like to run that, except it's quite a mana-intensive ability.

Faceless_Being, since Monstrosity happens at instant speed, any infinite mana combo + Spitting slime already = everyone dead once you untap.

Think of how many people pass on giant fatties that they'll never get to cast. Now imagine you drafted this guy 2nd or 3rd pick because there was nothing better. All of a sudden you've got a turn 4 8/8 or bigger depending on what's in the set!
