Just saw the new spoiled golgari legendary spider. What has to go into her deck ? I thought about reanimator/recursion with Spider Spawning.
Perhaps if there are ways to blink her that would be good. Though I'm not aware of many blink cards outside of Azorius colors aside from Conjurer's Closet. Id have to look at some Roon lists.

Conjurer's Closet is great.
Arachnus Spinner and its web would be good at hosing down annoying utility creatures like Mother of Runes or Fatestitcher.

I'm already brewing for her. I've been waiting for a legendary Spider since original Innistrad. :D

Is Splinterfright worth running? It's not a spider, but can help get delirium and is like a second Nyx Weaver.

Splinterfright (and his friends Mortivore, Sewer Nemesis, ect.) is a dead draw early game due to lack of creature cards in the bin and late game your GY might already be exiled by various things. However, he does have evasion, dumps cards into your GY and is only 3 cmc. I'd say he's decent if you're going to focus on dredge mechanics (which pairs well with delirium). I'd also recommend Lord of Extinction as you're not limited to creature cards in your GY. Oh and you can never go wrong with Mesmeric Orb.

I am really not impressed by the legendary spider, Ivanka Trump. I originally misread its ability as, "At the beginning of your upkeep, if delirium, put 3 spider tokens into play" (I was trying to read the full card as an image from a spoiler site, and I couldn't zoom in at all) and even then I wasn't really impressed. After being corrected, my opinion worsened further, lol.
Spider tribal is going to be awful. I think about the only thing worthwhile it can do is be a sink for infinite mana, but the mana has to at least be partially colored. Because of this, I think the following cards are probably going to be necessary in order to win before, like, turn 8 with this creature:
Ashnod's Altar
Nim Deathmantle
Cabal Coffers
Deserted Temple
Rings of Brighthearth
Basalt Monolith
Magus of the Coffers
Umbral Mantle
Ashnod's Altar, Nim Deathmantle and delirium create infinite colorless and as many spiders as you want. You can add for each opponent you control to end the game at that point. Cabal Coffers, Deserted Temple, and Rings of Brighthearth form the Seven Swamps, Will Travel improv group, to create as much black mana as you want to end the game (doesn't matter how many spiders you control if you have arbitrarily high values of black mana: Simply make your opponents lose 1 life 40 times each).
Basalt Monolith and Rings create an infinite mana combo for colorless, which is pretty self-explanatory. Magus and Umbral Mantle are probably the worst cards listed of these mana combos, but they're still worlds better than most spider creatures, and generating infinite black allows you to win outright if uninterrupted.
You can include things like Chameleon Colossus as an additional mana sink, as he's probably one of the better spider-typed creatures. Tutors in black and green will be valuable for finding combo pieces: Worldly Tutor, Green Sun's Zenith, Natural Order, Chord of Calling, Birthing Pod, Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Diabolic Intent, etc.. Toss in various other combo cards, like Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion, and things like Buried Alive to get them, with Reanimate and Living Death to let you shove them directly into play to win, and the deck practically builds itself.
I'm thinking GB mana sinks would be a way to build it that could work, but not overwhelm a more casual playgroup. Ivanka Trump doesn't exactly have the recursion power to play stax (so if doing stax, why play it over Meren, Karador, etc.?), so going all-in on tutors, mana generation combos might be a decent way to do things.
Then again, I may just be saying this because I find Ambassador Laquatus hilarious, and that deck is basically U mana sinks + counters (inferior Azami/Teferi, basically, lol). Anyway, that's my two cents on the matter- tribal spiders sounds awful to me.

I proxied it and played it with green/black elves. Used conspiracy to make it all spiders and started draining life. Worked remarkably well.

I saw it and thought of Spider tribal, but unfortunately there arent many good spiders that could fit in one such deck. Arachnogenesis has people talking, and I can really see it shining with Parallel Lives, Primal Vigor and Doubling Season.
Additionally, other cards with Delirium should be really good with it, mainly Mindwrack Demon
