Here's a vintage control deck. The main lock is pretty straightforward:

1. Use hand/graveyard control to stave their opening salvo
2. Use Upheaval to reset the board
3. By this time, you should have a few jewelry on the table to recover from Upheaval faster.
4. Do this enough times and you will be able to immediately follow Upheaval with Narset + Time Spiral, leaving your opponent with no hand, no graveyard, and nothing in play
5. To lock their hand down, use Dack Fayden + Narset; and Jace to finish them.
