I've wanted to make some Elemental and Golem decks for a while. The recent Chandra cycle out of M20 certainly looked fun, and I needed an Oathbreaker deck to fill a hole in the repertoire. Fun element to this, the Lorwyn Elementals tribal pieces were quite helpful in filling out the roster with some surprises. The main idea of the deck is Elementals onto the board for quick early damage and then enough boom to be able to hang in there for the rest of the game. If all goes well, either way, I'm done playing the game before too many turns. But I wonder if it might be too fast. Fire-based elementals like this tend to be skinny and/or impermanent, which means I'm susceptible to trample and/or fog. Either way, this is the first go at it. I think this will be a nice one to keep and tinker with over the years.
