Sideboard

I recently acquired some new pieces for my collection, and was looking to put together another legacy deck. This is the result. I will either take this or infect to an upcoming competitive event. I have more experience with infect but think Maverick is better positioned in the local meta. I will run it out like this in a couple of small events for now to get some experience with the deck. First impressions from goldfishing are positive. I like the deck, and it seems like non-stop gas.

It differs slightly from some of the other Maverick lists that have seen recent tournament success, but is far from revolutionary. I have access to Tropical Island and Bayou in my collection if I would like to convert to three-color, or I have a playset of Grove of the Burnwillows and a single Taiga if I want to convert to a Punishing Fire build. Right now I think straight GW is the way to go, however.

The aforementioned competitive event will draw both legacy regulars and players new to the format. The local meta features a large number of Grixis decks (Delver and control), D&T, S&T, Reanimator, and Lands. There are also a few Loam Pox players around, a couple of ANT/Storm players, and probably some Eldrazi players. I expect elevated numbers of Burn, D&T, Death's Shadow, and Reanimator decks as well, as they can be budget/semi-budget options for newer legacy players. Overall, the meta will be diverse, but I would still like to prepare the sideboard accordingly, as best I can.

Total deck options for me: (Note that I haven't updated some of these lists in a while) Infect Legacy, Maverick, Legacy Death and Taxes, Legacy Burn, Belcher, or Turbo Depths (without Mox Diamond). I might also be able to put together a Punishing Jund list, but I would be forced to make some sub-optimal card choices based on my access to cards (especially Reserve List cards or high-value Jund cards which do not see play in modern GB Rock).

Feedback is appreciated.
