Who doesn't love dragons? This deck has seen quite a few changes, but I think it finally challenges some of the more competitive decks in Modern (sorry if that makes it a little more expensive). Your goal is going to be to get out a Smoldering Egg  and transform it ASAP. Use Manamorphose to charge it and grab new cards. Additionally, Moonveil Regent is outrageous when used to help charge Smoldering Egg  . I've set it up to almost always allow a player to draw 2 cards with the instant/sorceries, and if you can get more than 1 Moonveil Regent out, you have potential to draw 4/6 cards in one go. Because you are constantly drawing, you get access to all of your instant/sorceries quickly and can transform Smoldering Egg   early in order to start doing 2 damage with it at least once per turn. Another card that can really bolster the egg is Thrilling Discovery. Not only are you charging your egg for 2, but as long as you discard 2 cards, you can also gain access to 3 new cards helping get to those all-important instant/sorceries throughout your deck. Additionally, Blood Moon is your best friend against most of the decks you will commonly face, even ones that have red in them as it can completely lock up decks with special lands. But if your opponent uses red/ has plenty of mana tricks up their sleeve, I would definitely use Dragon's Claw from your sideboard instead.

Overall, this deck can topple opponents with a huge swing on about turn 7. By then the hope is that we have at least two 4/4 dragons, and if we have out a Manaform Hellkite then we can swing with at least 11 damage (if we play a damaging sorcery as well). Once you do get out a Smoldering Egg   play aggressively and fuel it as fast as possible. If you don't have it out, play slower and try to set up for your dragons with Dragon's Hoard and Thrilling Discovery grabbing cards and helping mana.

You're most important color is red as it fuels every card in the deck, and white is the second most important as green is really only in the deck to use Manamorphose and deck:Autumn's veil (who is in the sideboard to deal with threats from blue and black decks that would normally get to wipe out/counter your creatures/spells). The sideboard contains: card:hellkite tryant (if you use hellkite you need to keep Dragon's Hoard just to help cast it) and Rip Apart to deal with artifact decks; Rest in Peace to eliminate grave surge threats like living end; and Reap the Past to mega fuel Smoldering dragon through its own cost, and potentially returning instant/sorceries to your hand. It can also be a huge relief against counter and removal decks, as you can return a large number of cards to your hand and have a whole new hand to begin to dominate with late game. Earthquake is also another potential fuel monster for Smoldering Egg  , however its use in the sideboard lies in removal of token spamming decks. All of our creatures have 4 toughness (and/or flying), so we can always afford to pay at least X=3 to remove small tokens that may threaten. This card can also be used as part of an aggro use of the deck, as it does damage to players and creatures. The biggest part of this deck's success lies in your ability to read and limit your opponents through your sideboard. It's good enough that it does win that first game at times, but there are several more common decks that can beat you. Take advantage of the sideboard and practice playing against different decks to find the best ways to change out the deck for success.

Let me know what you think, and what you would change! Also, if you run it in an event, I'd love to hear about your experience with it!
