The last time I updated this deck was like 3 years ago. It's pretty janky-looking now. I'd do the mana base TOTALLY differently if I were building from scratch. I'm sure there's also been a ton of great cards printed in the last couple years that work really well here, but I haven't bothered to look for them. If you happen to think of one, lay it on me.

With what I've played so far, I find that search becomes alot less useful turn one when compared to birds. I don't really want to get rid of primordial hydra because he and corpsejack are mainly what the deck is built around. Ob nix I'm willing to trade out for something else however, I'm going to playtest the deck with some hand disruption.

Last week I went 2-2 again. The extra protection made both black match ups favourable, however, I struggled against Burn and MonoBlue devotion that benefitted from better evasion and slightly better tempo.
My changes have been largely informed by reading the article on UWr by AJ Kerrigan.
Creatures: -4 Hopeful Eidolon, +4 Akroan Skyguard
Enchantments: No change
Spells: -4 Brave the Elements, -1 Ephemeral Shields, +4 Gods Willing, +2 Mizzium Skin, +1 Bioshift
Akroan Skyguard will hopefully improve my evasion with flying without too much of a tempo drop.
I've dropped from 21-19 lands as I found I was getting flooded.
Brave the Elements and God's Willing are a direct swap as I've found that people are only playing direct removal, not too many sweepers. So I feel comfortable going greedy to Scry.

Main Deck moved to Sideboard: No change
Sideboard Adjustments: -2 Deicide, -3 Ethereal Armor, +2 Gift of Orzhova, +1 Ordeal of Heliod, +3 Swift Justice
Lifegain salvaged me one match against Burn and having seen many players play Goblins for fun I think I might need it again. Lets see how this deck runs tonight

I ran 2-2 on my first FNM and made several changes in the hope of gaining better tempo advantage and better protection for my creatures against a black dominated FNM.
Creatures: -4 Fabled Hero, -4 Hero of Iroas, +2 Brimaz, King of Oreskos, +4 Hopeful Eidolon, +4 Lagonna-Band Trailblazer
Enchantments: -4 Ordeal of Heliod, -3 Stratus Walk
Spells: -4 Gods Willing +4 Brave the Elements, +4 Hidden Strings, +1 Ephemeral Shields Lands: -2 Island, -2 Plains +4 Hallowed Fountain

So i was playing in a 4 man FFA edh game, and one person had seem my Melek deck before so he promptly destroys my command tower, sol ring, and scroll rack by turn 4...But this matters little when i turn 7 cast mystical tutor for high tide, Activate Senseis top to draw it, cast it, cast frantic search to draw top back and untap lands. Play Personal Tutor for Mana Geyser, Play top and activate top to draw Geyser. Then Finally playing mind's desire and win with stuff. Not to mention guttersnipe was on board the entire time and everyone took about 60 damage by the end of my turn....

Took this list to a local 5 round even and went 5 - 0. I touched Huntmaster of the Fells for card advantage. It acts as my planeswalker that can be tutored and does not get hit with my Thalia.

After adding Beck / Call I'm starting to see actual consistency. Now I win more frequently on my fundamental turn.

Opting for Wall of Essence for Nyx-Fleece Ram due to its ability to make attacking difficult for my opponent, also adding in Athreos to get more value out of my chump blockers.
