Craziest Games/Boardstates

So, the point of this thread is to share your story of the craziest game of magic you've played that you can remember. I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of your answers will be about EDH games, but mine is of the modern format. So let me just start with a picture of the board state before I lost.

A little crazy, huh? So, here's the deal. I was running my B/r 8Rack deck, and my opponent was playing W/r Pillow Fort. The game started out with a turn 0 Leyline of Sanctity from him...ouch. I have no mainboard answers for Leyline, so i was basically screwed but for some reason i thought I'd play it out anyways in hopes of being able to win through Liliana of the Veil . In the picture he has three Pithing Needle 's out, naming Liliana of the Veil , Rix Maadi, Dungeon Palace and Chandra, Pyromaster . In addition to that, he had two Leyline of Sanctity , three Ghostly Prison , and one Ensnaring Bridge . His win cons were all planeswalkers, and on the board he had Elspeth, Knight-Errant which he had already ulted once, Ajani Vengeant and Gideon Jura . As you can see, he also had a swarm of tokens.

What did I have? Three Ensnaring Bridge s, a playset of both The Rack and Shrieking Affliction and a single token off of Young Pyromancer . When It came to it I targeted myself with my discard spells, even dealing some damage to myself with Blightning as to not allow him to attack. (If not for that damage, I would have won). At this board state I was at 3 life and he was at 20+, he had three cards left in his library and I had seven. If not for his copy of Ajani Vengeant being exactly where it was in his library he would have milled out since he had no more burn to finish me off. This was by far one of the most insane games of magic I've played in a long time, and the fact that 8Rack almost beat a T0 leyline game one is awesome. Anyways, that's my story for the day. So, do you all have any stories of crazy games/boardstates you've had in recent memory?

Anyway, in Standard a while ago, I was running Bant Pillowfort, and against an Izzet control player, I had locked him out of the game with an elspeth on board. I had asked if we could go to game two, but he wanted to play it out. So I decided that I'd also have some fun by not attacking him. By the time turns had been called, I had seven elspeth emblems, and a fat-stack of 150 tokens. It was pretty sweet in terms of board states.

Pretty impressive man. Didn't win but it has to feel good knowing you put yourself in a position to win against ridiculous odds.

Back in Scars/Innistrad standard, I was running a flicker deck. At FNM, I get paired against another flicker deck.

At one point, he had Stonehorn Dignitary and Conjurer's Closet out. I already had my own Conjurer's Closet out, and I played Phyrexian Metamorph copying his Dignitary.

A whole lot of nothing happened that game.

I was playing Zandl's Centaur Tribal [Top8@FNM x2] at one week and I managed to get 88 Centaur tokens onto the board before finding enough mana to attack through a Sphere of Safety ... for 3 damage a turn. Luckily, I had a Trostani, Selesnya's Voice and was at over 300 life.

Then I drew a Sundering Growth and hit him for about 400 at once with all those tokens, 3 Healers, 3 Disciples, 3 Mutavault , and 2 Pheres-Band Warchief (and Trostani).

Also, let's not forget the time I attacked with 2 Misthollow Griffin , floated 8 mana, used the -15 on Gideon, Champion of Justice , and cast the Griffins from exile as the only permanents on the board.

There was the time I played against BW midrange last summer. The guy cast a Blood Baron of Vizkopa and I cast Progenitor Mimic .

Then there was the time I had 10 mana, 2 Terra Stomper , and a Wurmcoil Engine , and cast two copies of Overwhelming Stampede .

There was a game where I had all four copies of Sphere of Safety , my opponent Miracled Entreat the Angels for 14, and I shrugged.

Serves you right for not playing a set Hunted Horror in the board.

U/W Miracles mirror goes a whole lot of nowhere real fast. Double counter-top lock turn 2 naturally on both sides.

When I think of more interesting things, I'll post here, but for now here's what I got:

Playing U/G Infect, the game had grinded out against a UWR Control player. He had 7-8 lands in play, and I had 5-6 (including Dryad Arbor ) as well as a Wild Defiance . He's at 16 life.

I cast Mutagenic Growth , making my Dryad Arbor a 6/6, and attack. Trying to get some more damage through (he only had one card in hand), I Vines of Vastwood to make it a 9/9, but he responds with a Path to Exile . My response was Apostle's Blessing , and I got through for exactly 16 points of damage with a 1/1.
