Sideboard

This deck is made to turbo out the Maze's End affect. It has tons of ways to get the lands out and also includes ways in the sideboard to counter popular land hate cards such as Blood Moon.

The mainboard is important to either get the guildgates into your hand or graveyard to have synergy with the turbo cards Azusa, Lost but Seeking and Explore. You also need to use the cards that can put the guildgates into your graveyard to give synergy with Crucible of Worlds.

If you combine those two aspects, you should be able to be playing guildgates you need once, twice, or even three times a turn.

As I am sure you know, any deck that uses cards such as Blood Moon, Crumble to Dust, etc. are going to have a favorable match up against this deck after sideboard. By using (2) Froest and (2) Swamp in the mainboard with ways to fetch them, you have the ability to run many cards that will be good against the meta. You get access to Abrupt Decay, Reclamation Sage, Nature's Claim, etc. to fight the land affecting cards (Blood Moon, Blood Sun, Alpine Moon). You also get access to Fatal Push for your creature match ups to help fight them while you chump block with Gatecreeper Vine and Satyr Wayfinder, and you have Scavenging Ooze for dredge decks or decks that play Snapcaster Mage. The reason that Wasteland Strangler is in the sideboard are for the decks that may use an "exile" affect on one or multiple of your guildgates. With Wasteland Strangler, you can return that card from exile back to your graveyard so you can use Crucible of Worlds to replay it. It also is very good if your opponent uses Surgical Extraction on your Maze's End. Raven's Crime is good for slower control lists because you can use lands to constantly have them discard cards from their hand just by discarding guildgates into the graveyard.

There are also tons of other options you can put in the side just by changing the (4) types of basic lands you have mainboard.
