This deck is "Ikoria" theme. Basically its a mutate deck with all of the mechanics in Ikoria accounted for. It's a companion deck, featuring Keruga, the Macrosage. It has keyword counters. It has cyclng. Basically this deck exists to represent the Zagoth region of Ikoria. I have several Vorthos tendencies when deck building and for this deck I wanted it to have as many Ikoria cards in it while also being functional given it's limitations (see companion). I also enjoy the fact that the mechanics of Ikoria were hotly discussed for a while and still contentious for some people (I put in one free with commander spell just for good measure). I almost always play in the Sultai colors (mostly- see my vehicles list), so the opportunity to build a deck around the region of Zagoth and build a mutate deck appealed to me.

This deck was built from the ground up [it's not an upgraded precon].

There are some interesting tricks in the deck, such as weird blink synergies, but mostly the strategy is simple, go big and smash.

This deck is also a counterpoint to my Vehicles deck as Mechs versus Kaiju is just fun to have in my collection.
