Sideboard

Creature (2)

Enchantment (4)

Something based and inspired heavily by some janky nonsense I played way back in the Inn/Scars standard rotation.

Main game plan is to get Liquimetal Coating out, then start using things like Smash to Smithereens, and Destructive Revelry to grind out their threats (and if they stumble, lands as well) as well as slowly take down their life total. The secondary plan is to beat the opponent over the head with man-lands such as Mutavault and Raging Ravine.

While using things like Noxious Revival, Reclaim, and Eternal Witness for heavy recursion of either more destruction spells, replaying a liquimetal coating, or getting back any number of other valuable cards.

The deck, since being made, has come to rely less on liquimetal and the artifact hate package and more on value creatures to stall the game out.

Lands:Raging Ravine, Mutavault, Treetop Village: They're manlands. This deck is light on creatures without them and having early blockers can be important. These leave more room for actual spells and can be pulled out early with Ancient Stirrings. Almost nothing in the deck requires more than one mana symbol early on except for Destructive Revelry and Huntmaster of the Fells   which allows the use of mutavault and having a few CIPT lands.

Cards to Consider/Find room to slot:As of 10/19/15
Cinder Glade: More things to fetch in the deck that aren't Stomping grounds, would need a couple more basics.Den Protector: A second, pseudo Eternal Witness. Crumble to Dust: Good for ridding an opponent of pesky lands, probably a one of sideboard card. If my understanding is right, can be pulled out with Ancient Stirrings. Ingot Chewer : Decent body with hate attached or can be Evoked for 1 red to pop something.

Krosan Grip: Untouchable, instant speed hate. A little expensive but worth it against control. Oxidize: Good and cheap. Only downside is that it doesn't do damage on top of removing a threat and you only get one good shot with it. Hard to compare to Ancient Grudge. Smash : Instant speed, cantrip, but doesn't recur. Also a little too expensive.

Vandalblast: Worth considering for SB against affinity, but it may just be more worth running Shatterstorm and suck up losing my own liquimetal coatings.

Here's what I changed:

Maindeck:

Sideboard:

Splinter was just underperforming and Harmonize seems like a better choice overall. Refilling the hand, another good target for any of the recursion. Sideboard is a little more focused. Atarka's Command is nice and all of the modes are relevant often. (depending on matchup) Krosan Grip is a good choice against control decks, Shatterstorm is invaluable against Affinity.
