A slightly more aggressive control strategy. Hoping to set up draws and tempo out turn 1 and 2 with a mix of opt/serum visions/mana leak/and bitterblossom with Spellstutter as an option for 1 mana spells (although I think Spellstutter is a better mid to late game counter once you get 2-4 Faeries on the field). Once the early game is through and we get up to 3 and four mana, the goal is to start getting values off of Vendilion Clique and Mistbind Clique, and using them to attack in and kill the opponent.

The ideal engine all revolve around Eldrazi Displacer and creating a "soft" lock. We do this by using Displacer to have access to repeatable ETB triggers off both Cliques and Spellstutter (either allowing us to always disrupt their draw, tap their lands, or counter a spell).

Sideboard plans are mostly around changing our control focus from creature removal to control/combo hate. Most of these sould be swapped out with mainboard cards (like Condemn) to better fit against whatever your local meta would be. Supreme Verdict is one that I need to test more with to see how useful it is against fast, aggressive creature decks. I feel like there is a place for it in the sideboard for those matchups despite having 17 creature mainboard ourselves, but I could be wrong.

Maybe picks are a combination of sweet cards that are on the pricey end (like Jace and Liliana) to specific hate that I don't know what to replace in the sideboard for.

Jace - our Displacer/Vendilion combo makes a version of his +2 and while Brainstorm is nice, it is entirely necessary for this deck. I feel like one copy include could be used (especially against any combo/control decks), but this deck can function well without him.

Liliana - Much better include then Jace here. If we find both us and our opponent empty handed, all we need is a Displacer on the battlefield and access to colorless mana and we still have abilities we can trigger to control the game. The sacrifice ability as well helps us against hexproof threats (like boggles) which this version has no good ways of dealing with. Easily would make room for her if I had any copies.

Leyline/Rest In Peace - Real good cards that I think Ashiok does a better job for us. His passive can fudge with combo (plus have him with a Field of Ruin and its a one sided Stripmine) and he does a good job of managing an opponents graveyard. Leyline and Rest might come into play faster, but I think he is just better as a sideboard option.

Spell Snare - Love this card on the draw, just don't know what it replaces in the sideboard since it is a very specific case.
