UPDATE 07/05/13: I figured it out! I want this to be competition-worthy in Legacy. To that end, I know what it needs to do: Land Destruction. Please advise.
Thanks! Gilder Bairn can't double the counters on Helix Pinnacle though, because Pinnacle has Shroud. It could, however, double the counters on Gemstone or Braid. I'm not sure if it'll fit, but I do appreciate the suggestion.
Doubling Season would work. It's effect does not say "target".
aeonstoremyliver: Given that, I'm takin' this Legacy. Those spells will probably be important for this deck. Thanks!
I'm currently considering running Llanowar Elves and Druid of the Anima so I can ramp to Upwelling and Boom/Bust . Ultimately, I want to cast Helix Pinnacle , Braid of Fire , Upwelling , and then bust from Boom/Bust so I shut down my opponent's mana. Considering straight-up damage as a backup win con.
aeonstoremyliver: When I first thought up this deck, Omnath was in there. Seems like if I've tried a number of different strategies, then Omnath has been suggested after lots and lots of work, this card belongs in here. When I update this, it should be making a comeback. Thanks! I like Vorinclex and Banefire too.
