Yes! I agree with Winterblast, Magic computer software is the best way to learn nowadays. When I learned (way back in 1994) we used that insanly complicated rule book that came in starter decks to figure it out. It didn't work very well. My buddy and I had a Revised starter and a bunch of Fallen Empires packs and we tried to learn all on our own. We were 12 or 13 years old and nobody helped us at first. I thought the mana pool grew every turn (like with Upwelling in play) and so our decks had almost no land in it. Later after we had truly learned the game I taught my dad. I remember he couldn't understand why having 2 Zuran Orbs in play didn't give him 4 life per land. Actually that argument led to him quitting the game. Fast forward to today. I got a magic online account less than a year ago (finally) and my understanding of the stack and priority has advanced from it even after having been a magic player for almost the entire existence of the game.

Not sure how I feel about Upwelling. Because your opponents mana pool will not empty either I feel like it makes you at a disadvantage against anything that actually ramps. Also, you may want to consider adding Odric, Master Tactician as well. Being able to decide who blocks where is a super powerful ability late game when your board is massive. those are just some ideas while I'm at work. If I get a chance, I'll take another look when I'm free. Looks cool so far.

I want to make a modern deck based around the cards Omniscience and Enter the Infinite. Obviously, this will never be tier 1 but I wanted to see if it could be good enough to be tier 2 -2.5. The win conditions I want to be flashy such as things likeLaboratory Maniac. Alternatively I could have the deck do something insane like summon 4 Blightsteel Colossus and 4 Progenitus on the same turn and just go ham. The main problem lies in getting Omniscience on the board and not dying long enough for me to actually use it. I need recommendations for superb strategies and card suggestions. If someone has already made a similar deck and you know of it please link it; it may prove to be an excellent starting point.
I had originally thought that I woud make this colors but after seeing a few better combos and cards for the color combo I decided to switch to Izzet colors.
Card(s) that help cheat out Omniscience( that I am actually considering playing)
Jace, Architect of Thought -...playing blue as a primary color should not be a very difficult thing to stall long enough to activate his ultimate.
Jhoira of the Ghitu -literrally perfect. I just need a way to protect her and stall for 4 turns.
Possible support cards:
Braids, Conjurer Adept very much a fan...just need a reliable way to tutor her while also being able to protect her and blow up anything my opponent wants to cast with it...difficult; however, not impossible.

Daedalus19876 I think I figured it out using Enter the Infinite and Upwelling I will be able to afford both Enter the Infinite and Endless Swarm. When before I have casted Endless Swarm i will then cast Quicksilver Amulet since I won't be able to cast anymore and creatures I need I will just use quicksilver since it isn't casting then using ulomag I will then discard it thus shuffling my graveyard into my library not decking myself

If I've learned anything from EDH, it's that Upwelling tends to get people to leave you alone, at least until they can abuse it themselves..
