Sideboard

Maybeboard

This deck is your typical aggro/tribal. Extremely stable and surprisingly versatile. Given that you use the sideboard wisely to match your local meta.

How to play

  • Goblin Guide is strong early game but weaker later on as he adds only foresight but no extra strength.
  • Legion Loyalist keeps your attackers alive due to first strike and makes a Piledriver a potential one shot even when blocked.
  • Mogg War Marshal is here to give us soldiers. I almost never pay his echo cost unless I have no cards in hand. You want to play him early on to give your attacks bulk.
  • Reckless Bushwhacker is essentially a better Goblin Bushwhacker as he remains 2/1. Never play him without surging.. The more Goblins in play, the stronger his surge becomes.
  • Goblin Bushwhacker is the same as above except his 1cmc allows you to play him without kicking when you have no mana/options.
  • Goblin Chieftain will reinforce and hasten your Goblins. Always good to play as this doubles the power of most Goblins in the deck.
  • Goblin Piledriver is your main executioner. His power can go through the roof sometimes and expect him to catch all the removal. Should always attack when Loyalist is on the board and almost always when there are other Goblins. His damage output is massive. Imagine 2 or 3 attacking at the same time with a Loyalist!
  • Mogg Fanatic is your chump blocker or chump blocker remover. You can block an attacker and then sac him to do 1 dmg to anything else.
  • Goblin Grenade / Lightning Bolt / Lava Spike are your typical burn/removal. A Grenade is cheap and combined with a Lava Spike and/or Lightning Bolt will half your opponents life total in a single turn.

Ideal start

  1. Goblin Guide - 2dmg
  2. Mogg War Marshal - 2dmg (4 total)
  3. Legion Loyalist + Surged or Kicked Bushwacker - 11dmg (15 total)
  4. Surged or Kicked Bushwacker + Piledriver 27 dmg (52 total)
