Sideboard

As you can see from my decks, i love green ramp or any ramp deck which allows me to use big stompy stuff.

This will most probably be my Origins Game Day Deck. Please feel free to +1 this deck and please leave a comment.

I really need help to get around Jeskai Ascendancy Combo. Is there a way to get around Sylvan Caryatid that is not Anger of the Gods? HELP!!!

ORIGINS GAME DAY RESULTS 2-1-1

First Match: Lost 2-0 Against Abzan Midrange with Blue. Siege Rhino, Deathmist Raptor, and Den Protector. Enough said. First game he out ran me in every area. He stopped everything I threw at him. I didn't draw into any of my big stompy roar guys. He ploughed through my mana dorks with the double decker bus (Siege Rhino). Second game I started with a fantastic hand but drew into nothing at all. I ended up with 3 Elvish Mystic, 3 Rattleclaw Mystic, 3 Courser of Kruphix, and lots and lots and lots of land. I drew into more land and one Whisperwood Elemental (which got countered)

Second Match: Drew 1-1 Against Abzan Counters. First game my opponent gambled on a 1 land hand and did not pay off for him and I out ramped him and my big guys went out and gobbled him up. Second game I didn't get what I needed as he flooded the board with his little (big) dudes. Hangarback Walker with Hardened Scales turns out to be amazing. I did, however, stall him a lot but he had so much life and lots of +1/+1 counters on all of his creatures which had lifelink and first strike. Too big for Dragonlord Atarka to devour. Anyway, this game went on for a long time and we ended up drawing the match 1-1.

Third Match: Won 2-1 Against Boros Tokens. First game I was too quick for his little Gobos thus resulting in a quick victory. Second game I kept a stupid 1 mountain hand on the draw hoping to draw a forest. The forest never came after 5 turns. So i lost that game. Third game I won quite quickly again. Dragonlord Atarka still wants to eat more Gobos.

Fourth Match: Won 2-0 Against Red/Black Dash. Both of these games were over quite quickly. Dragonlord Atarka is now no longer hungry and Hornet Queen is buzzing with this victory.

Anyway, I came 5th over all. Looking back on the day I have regrets about how I played. I should have won against the counter deck for obvious reasons.
