Bloodbraid Elf is happiest when she's beating face with a bunch of pals, fast. And this deck is all about making BBE happy!

The deck is built to curve out something like this:

• T1: Birds of Paradise or Utopia Sprawl
• T2: Blood Moon, Molten Rain (2 damage), or Boggart Ram-Gang (3 damage)
• T3: Boartusk Liege (up to 6 damage, if we swing with a 1/2 Bird and 5/5 Ram-Gang from earlier turns) or Bloodbraid Elf (up to 6 damage, if she Cascades into a 3/3 Ram-Gang and we swing with both)
• T4: A four- or five-drop (up to 14 damage, if we cast a Liege and swing with a 2/3 Bird, 7/7 Ram-Gang, and 5/6 Liege from earlier turns)

It feels "almost there", so I really appreciate any thoughts y'all may have!

Other cards that have worked well

These were all solid, but just a little worse than the current build. Still, I might have just not found the correct combination of cards yet ...

• A slightly different manabase, with more Fetchlands and an extra Stomping Ground, which enables a more consistent on Turn 2: I dropped this because the extra expense just didn't seem worth the payoff.
• Xenagos, the Reveler: His 0 was amazing in this deck ... turning out Hasty 2/2s (or even 4/4s, when the Liege is out) felt great. But his play pattern is just a little awkward with Bolt back in the format ... to keep him safe from Bolt, I often needed to +1 him on the turn I cast him, whether I had a use for the mana or not.
• Earthshaker Khenra: I loved the Haste and the fact it was a two-drop (which reduced the number of times I had to mulligan). And the graveyard recursion made a difference in a LOT of games. But he's just a little underpowered the rest of the time.
• Raking Canopy: The deck is rather weak to Flyers, and I found the Canopy to be solid sideboard tech.

Cards that have not worked well

These were all fine in theory, but not so great in real games.

• Flamewake Phoenix: I loved the Haste and Flying, but really hated the fact it has to attack each turn. The graveyard recursion was nice but a little too inconsistent for my tastes.
• Goblin Rabblemaster: Because it forces other Goblins to attack, the card is MUCH too inconsistent for my tastes ... every time I played it, it won the game quickly. But more often, it was stuck in my hand because it would have forced a stupid mass attack and lost the game quickly.
• Fanatic of Xenagos: Meh.
• Goblin Chieftain: Meh.
