Temur Bushwhacker Evolved

Modern Aggro Competitive Four Color Zoo

A Temur take on the Reckless Bushwhacker decks, looking to use evolve to gain extra big creatures via Cloudfin Raptor and Experiment One. The idea of the deck is to play an evolve creature, and empty your hand into an Atarka's Command or Reckless Bushwhacker to hit them for a boat load on turn 3 or 4. This deck is the epitamy of aggressive, being able to swing for 15+ on turn 3 with a good draw.

Some of the spicy tech in the deck includes Vexing Devil for those extra evolve triggers, and a white splash for sideboard cards and Wild Nacatl. Ghor-Clan Rampager and Atarka's Command help push the final bits of damage through.

In the sideboard we have all sorts of spicy cards, including Jeskai Charm for the surprise lifegain or a little bit extra reach, and Glorius End as a way to potentially steal match-ups that are unwinnable. Deflecting Palm is good into Death's Shadow and Burn decks, while Rest in Peace hoses graveyard decks while not hurting us.

Here's one of the many hands that can give us pretty close to a turn 3 kill. This one gets there on its own, not dependent on the top of your deck, so I am going to ignore the cards we draw.

2x Cloudfin Raptor, 1x Wooded Foothills, 1x Arid Mesa, 1x Wild Nacatl, 1x Burning-Tree Emissary, 1x Reckless Bushwhacker.

Turn 1 play Arid Mesa, fetch a Steam Vents, play a Cloudfin Raptor.

Turn 2 play Wooded Foothills, fetch a Temple Garden, play Cloudfin Raptor into Wild Nacatl, evolving both Cloudfin Raptors. Attack for 1.

Turn 3 play Burning-Tree Emissary, evolving both Cloudfin Raptors into 2/3s and off the cast a Reckless Bushwhacker for it's surge cost. Attack for 15. (2 2/3 Cloudfin Raptors, a 3/3 Wild Nacatl, and a 2/2 Burning-Tree Emissary = 9 + 4 for the Reckless Bushwhacker surge ability = 13 +2 for Reckless Bushwhacker = 15)

The deck has better draws than this too, this one is something that would come up semi-commonly.

Currently trying Old-Growth Dryads in place of Narmnam Renegade as it consistantly is a 3/3, fits better into the play patterns, and is able to get the third evolve trigger on Cloudfin Raptor, unlike Narnam Renegade. Also with how fast we are, hopefully the extra mana won't make a difference.
