Rakdos sacrifice deck for a pauper battlebox

Pretty straight-forward, use sac-engines mainly on Perilous Myr and Goblin Arsonist to clear opponent's board or play it as a burn deck depending on opponent, or use Act of Treason on an opponent's creature then sacrifice it.

Hissing Iguanar helps dealing some extra damage, while Fling can be a finisher using it on Bloodthrone Vampire like they usually do with Atog

Card choices:

  • Bloodthrone Vampire: our main fling target. Sacrifice everything and smash her in our opponent's face to close the match.
  • Carrion Feeder: another sac-engine. Doesn't get as big as you may think, but costs only 1 mana.
  • Viscera Seer: useful for filtering draws.
  • Fling: our best finisher if we have Bloodthrone Vampire, but we can use it on everything to close the game when we are sure that our opponent has no answers.
  • Costly Plunder: sacrificing a creature isn't a downside for us, so 2 cards for 2 mana is a great card advantage. We don't have many artifacts, but it becomes more versatile if paired with something like Dire Fleet Hoarder
Alternatives:

  • Goblin Arsonist, Perilous Myr, Mudbutton Torchrunner: they all do the same thing, getting sacrificed to deal damage to opponent or remove creatures and they're also great chump blockers. Perfectly scaled to fit in our mana curve.
  • Mogg War Marshal: basically just gives us 3 creatures to sacrifice.
  • Keldon Marauders: deals 2 damage, attacks for 3 and we can sacrifice him before he vanish. Not the best option, but can do a lot of damage if we are controlling the board.

  • Hissing Iguanar: a bit slow, but can take away a lot of life from our opponent, in particular if we have more than one on the battlefield.
  • Act of Treason: it's great when we have a sac-engine ready. Get the best creature from our opponent, attack and sacrifice it.
  • Terminate: sometimes you just need to kill creatures at instant speed and this is one of the best removals in the format.
  • Blightning: just some extra damage that also slows down our opponent.
Alternatives:
  • Hijack, Traitorous Blood: these would be strictly better than Act of Treason in a mono-red, but the double scares me. It could be a problem if we wanted to cast a Fling in the same turn, for example
  • Touch of Moonglove: could be an interesting removal, imagine to cast this on a chump blocking Perilous Myr. Kill the attacking creature and deal 4 damage to opponent.
  • Falkenrath Noble: arguably a better Hissing Iguanar for many reasons (gains life, life loss can't be prevented, evasive, counts when dies itself), but costs 1 more. Like I said for Vampire Aristocrat & co. in this particular case I preferred going faster.
