Mardu Copter for Modern

This is a competitive (and somewhat budget) alternative for Mardu Pyromancer in Modern using a variety of alternative aggressive and synergistic strategies to propose a different progressive gameplan.

Let's take a look:

Mainboard

Heres a couple of obvious differences from traditional Mardu Pyromancer:

• There are no Liliana of the Veil in the 75.
• There are no Young Pyromancer in the 75.

These being removed from my list are due to several perspective reasons:

The modern format is constantly evolving and such there are many current popular decks where Liliana of the Veil is not a useful card. These matchups (already bad matchups) include Bogles, Tron, Dredge and KCI just to name a few. In my experience, in many times I have viewed Young Pyromancer to be completely outclassed by many of the creatures of decks in modern - this may be somewhat due to the emergence of more aggressive strategies (Bridgevine, Hollow one, Bogles, Dredge) and the tools commonly used to combat these decks which can be effective against Young peezy mostly involve exiling or sweeping the board which is effective against Young Pyromancer (admittedly also vs Goblin Rabblemaster)

I have a fondness for Smuggler's Copter and Goblin Rabblemaster so i replaced the deck with these. While Smuggler's Copter provides a strong air body which can relatively pressure opposing planeswalkers and life totals while being a strong blocker that also draws cards and puts cards in the graveyard, its a nice draw to strengthen any Spirits or Goblins on the field. Whilst it dies to bolt, it does provide a cheap threat which can filter for relevant cards.
