Cliffhaven Vampire Pauper EDH

Deck Breakdown

Cliffhaven Vampire obviously calls for some sort of life gain strategy. Most of the time when trying to gain life you want the biggest bang for your buck, and a commander like Vizkopa Guildmage fits that plan nicely setting up massive lifegain swings. Cliffhaven Vampire however only triggers once on each instance of lifegain, not amount of life. Multiple, repeatable, and affordable small life gain bursts is the weapon of choice.

Gameplan

Our main plan is to slowly drain all our opponents to death, that means we must plan for the long game. Our commander is pretty kickass, a 2/4 flyer for 4. Thats big enough to stop most flying threats, and he has the interesting creature type of Ally. So the plan is to clog up the ground with creatures, and sit back draining life with Cliffhaven Vampire in the air. Exploit felt right at home in this deck as well.

Can deal with most threats

Synergy is fun

Slow

Remembering Every Trigger

May annoy playgroup
