Felipix yea, i don't know how to build Malcolm either. And I understand not wanting to do flying tribal lol, I have that in my Atarka, World Render deck, it's boring.
Here are some options to big blue guys:
Octavia, Living Thesis is a big boi, who can cost not a lot sometimes. Can also play into your control, as you're casting spells, so making things big, so you can swing with big. And ward .
Lorthos, the Tidemaker is pretty self-explanatory. Also a bit of control.
Nezahal, Primal Tide... is. It's good, just not sure how to build it.
Tromokratis is 'die in 3 hits or die to an army of my other creatures' commander. Also my favorite mono-blue legendary.

A) Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Stun counters and proliferate
B)Nezahal, Primal Tide, Control lots of interaction
C) Braids, Conjurer Adept clones commander to clone other people things not my own
