I'd love to build a commander deck based around Deathrite Shaman .

I think Necropolis Regent would be fun.

Or Satyr Enchanter because I have a super sweet pauper edh deck built around him and I know how good he would be if I could use uncommon and rares. Saturn Somersaults

I think Nacatl War-Pride would be a cool one too

And of course Gray Merchant of Asphodel

I think Consecrated Sphinx would be busted. Or Deadeye Navigator

Master of the Pearl Trident just seems like it'd be kinda cool as a merfolk legend.

Maybe Stoneforge Mystic as a quick equipment deck.

Five comments in and nobody’s mentioned the nephilim; the most obviously legendary nonlegendary creatures on the planet??

Honestly my pick would be Ivorytusk Fortress . Id put in a ton of stuff with tapping combos and stuff that gives them +1/+1 counters.

Either that or Storm Crow , the most powerful card in the game.

ZendikariWol the 4 color legends and the partner commanders are just so much better then the nephilm Unless its Yore-Tiller Nephilim

Tamanoa - I hate this color combination but I think this would be unique to build around. Pyrohemia comes to mind immediately.

I'd love a deck around Battlefield Thaumaturge . This is one of my favourite blue creatures and having him lead a deck would be awesome.

A little of-topic: A creature version of Guided Passage would be a dream come true.

Maelstrom Archangel for five-color angel tribal/

@shadow63 it’s a lot easier to pull off a visionary win in EDH than you would think. I’ve done it in riku and momir decks in the past. Momir was far more powerful with things like Wild Pair . I have a new deck with Volrath now too. Biovisionary is fantastic in EDH

Brutal Hordechief . After TypicalTimmy said that Shaman of the Great Hunt would be fun I immediately thought of Brutal Hordechief .

Brutal Hordechief would be a blast. I'd make it pillowfort and force combat every turn

Piper of the Swarm . Sigh.

I realize though that it being nonlegendary is relevant for non-singleton formats.
