PhotogenicParasympathetic Deckling

Hi there! I'm Noah, a West Coast-living, East Coast-raised Magic player and all-around nerd. I started playing when my sister got me a Portal 2A starter set, and quit shortly after the Urza's block... Mostly, I think, because I was too young to really understand the rules of the game. I got back into Magic briefly for the Zendikar Block, which remains my favorite block ever. My first Planeswalker was a Nissa Revane. She's therefore (and because she's awesome) my favorite Planeswalker, and I'm extraordinarily happy that she's gone from one card to four over the past year+. I'm currently working on collecting all the Angels ever printed... Good luck, amirite? I've actually only barely started, and until I have more cash monies, I am not likely to make a whole lot of progress.

I love EDH- my first deck was an out-of-the-box Oloro deck that I morphed over time into a real powerhouse, until I had to sell it off... Since then, I've built Savra, Queen of the Golgari, Sidisi, Brood Tyrant, Omnath, Locus of Rage, Daxos the Returned, Nahiri, the Lithomancer, General Jarkeld, Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim, Sigarda, Host of Herons, Infernal Kirin (for Star EDH), Toshiro Umezawa, Atraxa, Praetors' Voice, and Breya, Etherium Shaper. If you'd like help deckbuilding, I'm always down to look over deck lists and I love making suggestions. I'm also beginning a new Article Series called COMMANDER AND CONQUER, and I'd love to feature your EDH decks! Post below, and be sure to mention if you want suggestions, or are submitting as a CAC deck. Or both!

Let me know if you're still interested or not. Gotta make the sale and I'm currently holding them for you.

I agree with the above comment, Stonehoof Chieftain, Angel of Serenity, and Terastodon are all fantastic cards. I'd also advise adding Spearbreaker Behemoth and Spellbreaker Behemoth, as well as Summoner's Pact.

I'd also add some lands like Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion, Gavony Township, Slayers' Stronghold, Kessig Wolf Run, and Rogue's Passage. Without them, Tempt with Discovery just isn't very good.

I'd cut Protean Hulk - you can't get more than one creature off him, and while there are some choice cards to get... do you really need a seven mana tutor? Omnath, Locus of Rage is great, but you can't really abuse his landfall, so I'd cut him. If you're looking to make the deck "no dick moves," then Blightsteel Colossus and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger are both out of place. I'm not sure how effective Mayael's Aria and Martyr's Bond have been for you, but they seem slow and generally less effective than you'd like.

Looking for suggestions and critics. Please help suggest things to cut in exchange for cards on the maybeboard or other suggestions you might have.

Ajani Steadfast - doesn't matter what overall strategy you're going for with Atraxa, be it infect, superfriends, +1/+1s, or generic goodstuff, he helps them all.

Nicely done.

Said on Initiating a trade?...

You can't initiate trades unless you're an upgraded user. You can either upgrade your account (which I recommend - it's not expensive, and it's not a repeating subscription, but it helps the site out a lot), or you can continue to have other upgraded users initiate trades for you.

You're feeling nostalgia for something that still happens. Just go to any LGS.

When linking cards, use [ [ Card name ] ] without the extra spaces between brackets, so that people can easily see the cards. Also, using < br > again without spaces, allows you to make single spaced lines. For example:

Nissa, Vastwood Seer  Flip
Blade of Selves
Thawing Glaciers
Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx
Nissa, Worldwaker
Eldrazi Monument
Craterhoof Behemoth
Avenger of Zendikar
Amulet of Vigor
Winding Canyons
