I really love my slivers, and this is my dearest deck. :)
Everybody have his tribal OP deck: Some people play elfs; other play zombies or merfolks... The thing is that elfs are too girly for me, and zombies too ugly. Merfolks are cool, and allies too, but the first Magic card that I held in my hands was an
Plated Sliver
, back to 2003. It was given to me, a single copy of this card, and I'd always find curious this strange creature with such a badass flavour text back there. I just started playing Magic one year later in Mirrodin, but it didn't take long for me to discover the other slivers and starting constructing my own deck of these creatures!
Well, that's enough of me. Let's talk about the cards.
My goal was to have a lot of dual lands here, but since
Sliver Hive
release, mana never bothered me again.
Because of Crystalline Sliver I don't use some of my dearest slivers like
Magma Sliver
and
Crypt Sliver
, or the Amoeboid Changeling + Sliver Overlord combo.
About the sideboard:
Hibernation Sliver
and
Darkheart Sliver
are on the sideboard mainly for survival strategies: If my children are about to be wipped out of the battlefield, I can still sacrifice one sliver in order to gain 3 life, and then pay 2 life to return one sliver to my hand. Each two slivers save three others, or I can just pay extra life if the situation asks for it.

Ghostflame Sliver
is cool against All Is Dust and decks with color protection. Harmonic Sliver is almost always necessary, and Necrotic Sliver can deal with almost everything else.
Luckily, this deck can win by turn 4 or 5, and rarely needs to use combos or more than two 5 CMC creatures. But it's not always like that, as I didn't made it to be a "no fun" deck. I could, but I want to enjoy the matches and grow the ranks of my cute and creepy babies. :3
(though people still complain as soon as they notice I am playing them)
