Return of the God-Pharaoh (competitive)

Standard* Control UBR (Grixis)

Sideboard

With the return of bolas and impending rotation, I forsake my abzan midrange deck and move to greener (or bluer) pastures. When a card is impactful enough to warrant a 1 of in a slot usually reserved for Torrential Gearhulk, and the most iconic grixis card of all time saw a reprint, i knew what my next standard deck would be.

This deck takes the grixis shell of the last few months and ramps it up a few times with two new finishers, and quite possibly the best counterspell standard has seen in 4-5 years. Especially under gearhulks flashback ability, a modal counterspell is insane value, giving you 4 choices of modes between the original cast and the flashback. This deck also looses very little (aside from manabase) after rotation, so that is another massive plus.

If you like decisions, this is the deck for you!!

Any suggestions are welcome, down below, and ill probably reply :)
