I have edited this deck a lot since I posted it here, so this description is subject to change. The main focus of the deck now is Birthing Pod, with what I feel is a pretty effective progression. Start with Viridian Emissary and sac it for Skaab Ruinator, for ridiculous early pressure, or for Splinterfright with a few creatures in the graveyard. Solemn Simulacrum is great in pod decks since he has effects going both ways. I can pod him into an Acidic Slime to destroy swords and Angelic Destiny and other goodies, or I can grab Kessig Cagebreakers for an easy win if he stays alive a turn. Swiftfoot Boots makes him pretty powerful. Also, I use Mirror-Mad Phantasm to make for an easy game. I can pod into him, and his ability keeps him safe from removal if I have the mana open. Then when I have Splinterfright or Kessig Cagebreakers poised to attack, I copy the phantasm with Phyrexian Metamorph or Phantasmal Image and mill my whole library for game.
