Less stealing, Smoother Experience! —July 31, 2017

I removed all of the Threaten effects to focus more on Kari doing what Kari does, make Monkey Tokens to smash people in the face while it carries tons of swords and stuff. To that effect, I added 11 new cards.

Cards out:
Humble Defector
Norin the Wary
Rakka Mar
Skyship Stalker
Skysovereign, Consul Flagship
Hijack
Insurrection
Kari Zev's Expertise
Mass Mutiny
Grab the Reins
Molten Primordial
Collective Defiance
Ring of Three Wishes
Skyship Weatherlight
Goblin Rabblemaster

Cards in:
Daretti, Scrap Savant - There are so many artifacts in the deck, I think it goes without saying why I want THE Artifact Planeswalker in here!
Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker - The only threaten effect I kept in the deck was Zealous Conscripts and that's because it goes infinite with Kiki!
Lightning Crafter - With adding Kiki (above) to the list to infinite with Conscripts, I figured I would toss in the other notorious combo for redundancy!
Conjurer's Closet - A lot of the creatures in the deck make tokens that do a lot with Purphoros out. To get more bang for my buck, I flicker them with the closet!
Neheb, the Eternal - New Neheb is a super busted card in anything with red. Given that this deck takes lots of extra combat phases, he gets EVEN MORE BROKEN because he gives mana after each combat!
Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs - For starters, he makes tokens which partners well with the Purphoros/Panharmonicon/etc. triggers in the deck already. But he offers a bit of defense as well, since you can use the tokens he creates as blockers. Or just swing on your turn for the swarm win!
Caged Sun - Another good addition to ramp the deck faster, Caged Sun doubles your mana output, letting you play all the cards you could ever want!
Ruby Medallion - And before you cast Caged Sun, you can start pooping your hand onto the field by making them cheaper!
Whispersilk Cloak - Gotta protect Kari. So make her impossible to block!
Brass Squire - I scoured the Magic: the Gathering world for equipments that equip whenever a creature enters the battlefield to abuse the Monkey token, but there are some cards that I REALLY want on him but don't come with the trigger... NOW YOU CAN HAVE EVERYTHING YOU'VE EVER WANTED AND MORE!
Darksteel Forge - Don't blow up my toys!
Combat Celebrant - MORE COMBAT PHASES!
Skullclamp - Let's face it, the token is going to die after each combat. Why would you not want to do something Red has a hard time doing and draw cards for it?
Sword of the Paruns - Kari attacks... Gives power to monkey?! Can untap afterward to make blockers have bigger butts... I LIKE IT!
Trading Post - Fine. You blew up my toys. BUT I CAN GET THEM BACK!

Going to rework the primer description soon to reflect all the changes :) ENJOY!

Gratuitous Violence doubles the damage from Warstorm Surge, Purphoros, God of the Forge and your creatures in general.

carpecanum So it does! Suggestion has been added. I took Impact Tremors out since a) Violence doesn't interact with it due to not being a creature dealing the damage and b) I feel like Violence has more worth. The 1 point of damage I lose going to all opponents is actually gained back two fold by the additional 2 damage Purphoros will do with Violence out! Thanks, great suggestion! :D

I think I'm going to add In the Web of War to my Kari Zev deck. I think it's a good addition I initially overlooked. +1

Love-in-Theory Glad to be of service :D There was a lot of other input in the Reddit /r/edh thread I posted, but some of it didn't line up with the idea I had in mind for the deck. I think some of the other suggestions were lots of Threaten effects and sac outlets and ways to trade the Monkey token for other people's stuff. Seemed fun, but too chaotic for what I wanted to do :D

I think Skullclamp might be a usefull way to get rid of useless monkies

Fillo94- I need that for my deck tbh

Fillo94 This one is iffy because the Monkey only comes out when you attack and by that point you can't attach Skullclamp to him without using other cards to attach it at instant speed. I think if we focused MORE on the monkey damage and doing these kinds of things and cut out some of the Threaten effects, it would work. I may revise this list a bit coming soon, between all the new cards from Amonkhet and Hour of Devestation, so maybe that'll find a way into the deck :) Thanks for the comment/input! I appreciate it!

Qumps This is a good one! I'm going to add it to the Maybeboard for the version 2.0 I'm working on :)
