Love-in-Theory Deckling

Been playing Magic: The Gathering for about 5 years now.

Started off playing Standard, then realized that constantly purchasing new cards to stay in the format was far more effort than I was willing to put out. Rotated into Modern for a while, then started playing EDH just recently.

I'm always eager to find out about new things. Very open to suggestions.

maxon- since my buddies and I meet up only once a week to play, I'm always playing with with 4 people total. So 4-man FFA or 2-Headed Giant.

1v1s are fun, but it takes much more than just vomiting cards from your hand to win a game against multiple opponents

I was looking into cards earlier and I saw War Tax, but didn't think it'd be very useful in a multiplayer game. Then I saw it in your list. It's cheap enough to try though so maybe I'll pick one up. Thanks! Do you usually play 1v1? Or 3-4 person?

maxon- I really like it. It's a bluff card if anything, most of the time I don't even have to use it, I'll just sit with mana open, and my opponents get the impression that I'll flood mana into it to prevent attacking. And even when I do use it, it's always been helpful, especially later into the game.

They have to decide, do they REALLY want to attack? If they do, they have to leave open at least as much mana as I have untapped.

I actually had a guy at my LGS see me use it in Kami, and immediately picked one up for his Gwafa Hazid, Profiteer deck.

And even better is that War Tax is less than $1

maxon- Nice! I do still plan on picking up Tomorrow, Azami's Familiar, and now that you put it into context, I'll see about Polymorphist's Jest too.

I was playing a game last night where my opponent Telemin Performance into my Trench Gorger that I had just added. While I still lost, Trench Gorger was a real MVP, thank you for the suggestions!

I'll keep you updated as I continue to tune Kami

Nice. Thats basically the same as me. I play Thursdays at a friends house. Last night I was playing kami, and got out a Tomorrow, Azami's Familiar with kami and a Font of Mythos out. Soooo good. I was able to dig for all the answers I needed to fend off a Uril The Mist Stalker. Polymorphist's Jest turned out to save my life too by preventing me from taking leathal commander damage from uril the turn before I was able to kill my opponent with an octopus

Hey wizard. Just wondering, how often do you get to play EDH?

No problem! I'd been Brainstorming on a creatureless Keranos deck myself, thinking about running things like Mana Flare, Possibility Storm, and just anything chaotic, kinda like a storm :')

Have you ever considered something like Mana Flare? Yeah it helps your opponents out, but it'd help you burn quicker?

Braid of Fire continuesly adds to your mana pool on your upkeeps.

Fevered Visions is good

Mirari can copy Wheel and Deal cards.

Lightning Greaves. Nekusar is going to get Path to Exiled eventually. Since you always have access to Nekusar (when he's in command zone) you'll never have a problem putting them on him.

CaptSillva- Both of those were in the build originally. I took out Graceful Adept because it was always a dead card (already having Thought Vessel or something out).

I should find room for Otherworld Atlas again, I just don't know what I'd take out for it.

Nahiri, the Harbinger ultimate into Gisela, Blade of Goldnight can win you games. Both worked really well in my old Aurelia deck.

Hellkite Charger + Sword of Feast and Famine unlimited combat phases.

Anointed Procession
