Build approach
Trying to build it as Naya and I end up with a commander deck... so, just left it out. I have had lot's of success in RW Dinos in limited! Swashbuckling Storm Terrors! Territorial Hammerskul, Huatli etc.. anyway
I initially was trying to ENRAGE as much as possible, with Ranging Raptors, Raptor Hatchling etc using the usual Savage Stomps, but also Fiery Cannonade and 4 Raging Swordtooths. 1st FNM, played with the build here sans 2 Deathgorge Scavengers (didnt have them / had Ranging Raptors in lieu) also 2 less Raging Swordtooths.
The hardest decision towards making the deck was choosing between Pounce & Savage Stomp.
Playtesting:
4-1 at FNM... lost to approach.. IMHO because I didn't splash Blue. Settle the Wreckage, Fumigate & Approach (without any Rampaging Ferocidons) is this decks worst matchup I figure. Not quite quick to kill before they get their 4+ land drops)
The other issue I ran into a few times was multiple Drovers on the battlefield with no dinos in play yet... missing out on sneaking in 3-6 extra damage early on.So I was thinking about swapping out the 2 Raging Swordtooths for Nesting Raptors or Raptor Hatchlings or 3 drops to bring the curve down. (moves further away from being an enrage gimic deck :( 4 Ranging Raptors would be cool though :)
T3 Ripjaw Raptor attacking (enabled by Otepec Huntmaster) was the most consistently the successful sequence. Following that up with a T4 Reggie right after was also always brutal for opponents :)
sideboard
i'm kind of a newb to duels constucted standard... the sideboard here is adjusted for my meta. Re no Chandra's... i just always play her wrong I guess. I have 4, but didn't fit her into this deck
maybeboard
I'd likely play 4 Deathgorge Scavengers and 4 Carnage Tyrant if I had them.
Rampaging Ferocidon. I have 3 / made room for 2 in the board. Arguably should have 4 in the 75... so... less enrage - lower curve
OR - Chandra, Torch of Defiance...
BLUEBotanical Sanctum/Spirebluff Canal for some Spell Pierces & Negates is I figure where I should go with this?
