Sideboard

Deck Tech

  • Quick assembly of Urzatron with Expedition Map and Sylvan Scrying . Ancient Stirrings can help grab land pieces, but should be used to dig for win conditions when possible. Learning how to sequence your can trips are an important aspect of GR Tron. Sanctum of Ugin is our replacement for eye post ban.

  • Grove of the Burnwillows is a must if you want to have any chance at beating certain matchups (burn/affinity, etc.). We care about our life total so much, we cant afford to shock our self down with Karplusan Forest

  • Turn 3 Karn Liberated is the goal however, T4 Ugin, the Spirit Dragon is just as effective. These guys are alot of fun to play together.

  • Mulligan smart and aggressively- It's possible to get turn 3 karn after dropping to a 5 card opening hand + scry.

  • Sideboard is geared towards my local meta. Your results may vary!
