Control/Combo deck that focuses on using Spirit of the Labyrinth for unique and powerful effects.

Combos:

The main goal of these combos is to put the game into soft lock, in which only instants can be played.

Lore Broker + Spirit of the Labyrinth When used on your opponent's turn after they draw this combo acts as instant speed discard against your opponent and looting for you.

Jace's Archivist + Spirit of the Labyrinth When used on your opponent's turn after they draw this combo causes both players to discard their hand and draws you one card.

Vendilion Clique + Spirit of the Labyrinth When used on your opponent's turn after they draw this combo works the same as Clique normally does, except your opponent doesn't get to draw a card. Essentially instant speed discard to the bottom of the library.

Spirit of the Labyrinth + Teferi's Puzzle Box Causes each player to put their hands on the bottom of their library after they have drawn for turn.

Jace's Archivist + Waste Not Allows for a multitude of Waste Not triggers.

Control:

To support the combos in the deck, control is a very important aspect.

Remand and Mana Leak: The go-to counterspells for Modern. Protects your field and slows your opponent down.

Thoughtseize: Targeted discard for problematic threats in the future.

Vapor Snag and Path to Exile: After the lockdown the only way that the game can progress is through the use of instants and the state of the battlefield. These spells are used to remove any existing creatures on the board so that your side can swing freely.

Snapcaster Mage: Is a 2/1 body that can come in after the lockdown and allows you to use one of your control spells a second time.
