A Midrange Bant deck, with a theme focusing on Elspeth.
This is my first ever original MTG deck. I'd really appreciate any suggestions, as my knowledge of the game is pretty limited and this deck is the one I'd like to buy one day irl, so I kind of want to perfect it as much as possible before I buy any cards.
Card Purposes:
Rhox War Monk and Geist of Saint Traft are my main attacking creatures.
Qasali Ambusher is for, well, ambushing. (Not to mention Flying Defense)
Grand Abolisher is for avoiding counterspells.
Noble Hierarch for mana ramping.
Flooded Strand and Windswept Heath for fetching, allowing me to fetch any of my 9 dual lands with either card.
Cyclonic Rift to deal with counter and token gimmicks.
Path to Exile, Bant Charm, and Giltspire Avenger to counter heavy attackers or problem cards.
Wrath of God to deal with aggro. Two more on sideboard for when the opponent relies heavily on aggro.
Remand and Spell Snare for control. Spell Queller on sideboard for further control.
Serum Visions to help me get what I need, when I need it.
Sword of Light and Shadow to buff my attacking creatures while simultaneously raising the dead. Sword of Fire and Ice on sideboard for flexibility.
Gavony Township for synergy with Elspeth.
Rest in Peace and Stony Silence on sideboard for Graveyard and Artifact decks respectfully.
And finally, the leader of the Army: Elspeth, Sun's Champion for extra attackers/defenders, anti-heavy hitter, and bonus buff for all creatures
