Devilthorn Fox Discussion

If you're going for an improvise deck, I would recommend pulling the energy cards and focus on getting a few more artifacts into your deck instead. I thought Ornithopter would be a good fit for an improvise deck as well, but it turned out to be a bit of a bust. I would recommend adding more Bone Saw's or Cathar's Shield instead.
Bring Consulate Crackdown and Fumigate down to one each in your mainboard and put the others into your sideboard. Add one more Metallic Rebuke and then a couple Reverse Engineer's. Maybe run one or two of Baral's Expertise since it would allow you to play one of your Gisela's for free.
I would drop Aether Swooper, Devilthorn Fox, Ornithopter, Thing in the Ice Flip, and Thriving Turtle from your creatures list and add Wind-Kin Raiders, Bastion Inventor, Gearseeker Serpent, and Treasure Keeper instead. If you have more Toolcraft Exemplar, put those bad-boys in: I would shoot for running a full set of them if you can.
To keep with the artifacts theme, maybe add a couple more Implements since they also help with card draw in addition to other things. If you wanted to add a splash of black, you could always consider Prophetic Prism or Spire of Industry and use Implement of Malice instead of the other ones. That would also allow you to run Fatal Push in your deck or sideboard as well.
Hope that helps :]

I don't think you're running enough lands; your curve is focused around 3 and goes all the way up to 5 and you've got tons of activated abilities and Secure the Wastes to make use of excess mana, so I would probably go up to at least 22 lands. Also, Emeria, The Sky Ruin seems really hard to trigger in this deck with just 16 Plains and no card draw - it's going to be really, really, really late game by the time you can get any use out of it - and coming into play tapped is a pretty big drawback in a deck that wants to be curving out smoothly. It's a powerful effect and I can see why you would want it but I wouldn't play more than 1. Something else to consider is Eiganjo Castle as a 1-of: it doesn't work so well with Emeria, The Sky Ruin so you might not want to include it if you keep the Sky Ruins but there are a lot of legendary creatures in Fox tribal and it's a cheap effect on a land with no inherent drawbacks.
How has Pious Kitsune worked out for you because on the face of it, the card looks really bad? It's fine if you've got an Eight-and-a-Half-Tails out but otherwise it's a 3 mana 1/2 that can tapped to gain 1 life, which is a pretty miserable creature, and you don't really want to run many 8.5 Tails because it's legendary so the Pious Kitsune just seems unreliable. I would suggest Kitsune Blademaster as a replacement, since it's a decently aggressive creature that can make good use out of all the pump effects you're running.
Silverchase Fox is another creature I've found pretty useful in Fox tribal, maybe as a replacement for Devilthorn Fox, although it obviously depends on how likely you think you are to face dangerous enchantments.
Anyway, +1; I'm always happy to see someone else give challenging tribal decks a try.

Not sure if you like Sigarda, Heron's Grace as a sideboard card but I think if your opponent is Jund (Like me) they run a lot of kill spells and will pop your humans as fast as possible. Just a sideboard idea.
Also, if you are worried you don't have enough humans you can always try to fit Tireless Tracker into the deck. This card is AHHHH-MAAAAZZAAZAAZZZING!!!! haha been super impressed with this card. I feel it doubles well with your enchantment since it makes more humans and vice versa to get more counters on him. (I recommend switching it and your Devilthorn Fox)
No data for this card yet.
