At the beginning of your upkeep, each player discards a card. Each opponent who discarded a card that shares a card type with the card you discarded loses 3 life. (Players reveal the discarded cards simultaneously.)

Creeping Dread Discussion

Would recommand removing 3 to 7 basic lands and I suggest these budget cards: Capital Punishment Creeping Dread Strongarm Tactics Khorvath's Fury Rackling Wheel of Torture Outpost Siege Oracle's Vault War's Toll Call to the Netherworld ... Sire Of Insanity if you feel evil.

Totally missed Creeping Dread and a few others.
If you really want to build into opponent discard though, consider Arterial Flow , Dark Deal , Hymn to Tourach , Dreamstealer , Hypnotic Specter , or Liliana's Specter . All of those options cost 3cmc or less and are $ cheap as well.
Good luck with the build, I will post back if I come up with anything new.

Thanks for the view. I dont really want to cut the opponent discard stuff, I have been building this toward that theme.. I run The Eldest Reborn, Necrogen Mists , Creeping Dread , Syphon Mind , The Haunt of Hightower , Anvil of Bogardan , and Geier Reach Sanitarium in an effort to support opponents discarding. If you have suggestions along these lines, i would love them.
Thanks for the note about Murderous Compulsion , dont know how that happened, has been fixed.
I noticed your deck runs Worldgorger Dragon along with the 5-6 reanimates and spells to support it. I have purposely not run this combo as my playgroup doesnt play infinite combos. Because I am not going to using madness to dig for combo pieces, I have removed a lot of the more sad madness cards like Weirded Vampire .
As for the zombie generation and grave recursion stuff, I already have a zombies deck that I enjoy playing, so didnt want to build to that theme. I was kinda disappointed when WotC decided to go that direction with the madness out of box.
Thanks again. I like Elixir of Immortality in your deck. may have to find a place for it in here.

This is the commander I am most excited about. I like that you are leaning into the idea of everyone discarding, I was kinda thinking the same thing. If i have to be card dead, so does everyone else.
Creeping Dread - I like the idea of everyone having to discard, the damage is just a bonus.
Volrath the Fallen - 3 might be tough to play, but its a good way to madness out a creature.
Greel, Mind Raker - could be 0 if you are just looking to madness out a couple cards, or could make 1 opponent discard entire hand.
I am also feeling like this deck will need more mana rocks. especially if you are cycling thought your cards quickly. I was loving the new Arcane Signet coming out in the next set.
Good luck with this build. :)

The first thing I would recommend is finding a way to copy your namesake card the turn it's cast. Copies aren't cast, so both will resolve! It's pretty expensive, so having onboard ways are the best. Primal Amulet Flip is probably the best. If you utilize spell based ramp and tutors, you should be able to flip it. Swarm Intelligence , The Mirari Conjecture could also work.
Since you're not planning on using your hand or lands into the late game, you might as well have onboard tricks that use those resources.
To use your hand, you could play Rix Maadi, Dungeon Palace , Words of Waste , Null Brooch , Restore Balance , Jolrael, Empress of Beasts , Mageta the Lion , Stronghold Machinist , Stronghold Biologist , Greel, Mind Raker , Alexi, Zephyr Mage , Notorious Assassin , Knollspine Invocation , Pyromancy , and Magus of the Balance .

I think you're going to have to take a direction with the deck. It seems that your deck is being pulled in too many different directions. Big finishers (with your commander being one), discard enablers, discard payoffs... the balance depends on how you want to take your deck.
If you want to stick with Crosis, I'd recommend building a control-ish deck with him at the top end (or close to it) of your mana curve. Take out your specters and dragons. Run more low-to-the-ground utility drops like Baleful Strix, Serendib Sorcerer, Liliana's Specter, Nin, the Pain Artist, Nivix Guildmage, Notion Thief etc. Run cards that force discarding like Necrogen Mists, Creeping Dread, Painful Quandary etc. Go heavy on removal and draw spells. Alongside your commander, you can have some big spells as a way to end the game when they go long, like Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, deathcloud. Unless the vast majority of your cards are CMC 4 or below, the deck will be very clunky imo.
