The first thing I would recommend is finding a way to copy your namesake card the turn it's cast. Copies aren't cast, so both will resolve! It's pretty expensive, so having onboard ways are the best. Primal Amulet  Flip is probably the best. If you utilize spell based ramp and tutors, you should be able to flip it. Swarm Intelligence , The Mirari Conjecture could also work.

Since you're not planning on using your hand or lands into the late game, you might as well have onboard tricks that use those resources.

To use your hand, you could play Rix Maadi, Dungeon Palace , Words of Waste , Null Brooch , Restore Balance , Jolrael, Empress of Beasts , Mageta the Lion , Stronghold Machinist , Stronghold Biologist , Greel, Mind Raker , Alexi, Zephyr Mage , Notorious Assassin , Knollspine Invocation , Pyromancy , and Magus of the Balance .

To wreck everyone else's hand Mindslicer , Bottomless Pit , Creeping Dread , Necrogen Mists , and Oppression work.

To destroy lands, you could use Desolation , Destructive Flow , and Mana Vortex .

I think you're going to have to take a direction with the deck. It seems that your deck is being pulled in too many different directions. Big finishers (with your commander being one), discard enablers, discard payoffs... the balance depends on how you want to take your deck.

If you want to stick with Crosis, I'd recommend building a control-ish deck with him at the top end (or close to it) of your mana curve. Take out your specters and dragons. Run more low-to-the-ground utility drops like Baleful Strix, Serendib Sorcerer, Liliana's Specter, Nin, the Pain Artist, Nivix Guildmage, Notion Thief etc. Run cards that force discarding like Necrogen Mists, Creeping Dread, Painful Quandary etc. Go heavy on removal and draw spells. Alongside your commander, you can have some big spells as a way to end the game when they go long, like Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, deathcloud. Unless the vast majority of your cards are CMC 4 or below, the deck will be very clunky imo.

Haha, I actually meant to mention Oloro to you as he seemed like something I thought you would like, I just forgot to. This will be a super slow, grindy deck. Many people will not enjoy playing against it. I'd love it, but it will be difficult to make friends as a newer player. :p

Cards like Caress and Megrim really require you to have ways to refill your opponents hand. Cards like, but not limited to Font of Mythos and Dictate of Kruphix will be your friend here. Also, look for as many recurring discard effects as you can. Look for creatures, enchantments, artifacts, and planeswalkers if at all possible. I recommend some of these:

Nezumi Shortfang

Hypnotic Specter

Siren of the Silent Song

Words of Waste

Creeping Dread

Cunning Advisor

Raiders' Wake

Cao Cao, Lord of Wei

painful quandry

Myojin of Night's Reach

Ramp is also important look for mana rocks such as Mana Vault or Thran Dynamo. Ramp on creatures can also be awesome. Talking about Nirkana Revenant and Crypt Ghast. Both of which combo exceedingly well with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth.

The Rack and Shrieking Affliction will be good tools to help you ping your opponents to death.

Crypt Ghast would give you some ramp

Hollowborn Barghest isn't a rat, but the ability is quite good with your game plan.

Rackling same with this guy, another Rack but tied to a non-rat creature

Gibbering Descent, Bottomless Pit, Creeping Dread, and Necrogen Mists each give you reliable discard every turn

Oppression, painful quandry, and Geth's Grimoire give you more rewards when someone discards

Syphon Mind, Dark Deal, Smallpox, and Myojin of Night's Reach are all some good discard cards you're missing

Phyrexian Reclamation can let you re-play annoying creatures once people remove them, as well as provide draw for when you're top decking

Gray Merchant of Asphodel is a super solid black finisher and can keep you in the game a lot longer

Geier Reach Sanitarium gives you a discard trigger for everyone, and draws everyone another card which you can make them discard again

Attrition lets you use those rat tokens for repeatable removal

These are the cards that are probably under performing in your deck: Bone Splinters, Coercion, Death Stroke, Duress, Kaervek's Hex, Ostracize, Waking Nightmare, Ichor Rats, Typhoid Rats, Simulacrum, Subversion, Ordeal of Erebos,

There are a few ways to do this. Either speed up your mana accelerants, or slow down the rest of the table. Black has a lot of good access to both, but especially the second.

The Abyss and Magus of the Abyss will slow their board presence, but leave those bigger monsters for you to pick off with Kalitas. Creeping Dread, Cunning Lethemancer, and Mindslicer (if you're feeling mean) will give you hand advantage and slow their tempos.

If you're set on playing this card, it could be a good addition to a Chainer, Dementia Master deck, as you wouldn't have to really cast it at all.
