Heartless Summoning Combo [Modern] (Modern MTG Deck)

Heartless Summoning + Priest of Urabrask gives you out of . Ok, the Priest dies, but we can eventually take advantage of this, since it triggers Morbid on Brimstone Volley .With three mana in pool we can cast Urabrask the Hidden or Abyssal Persecutor /Shivan Wumpus (for two mana) plus a copy of it, using Phyrexian Metamorph for one mana.

Good stuff

With Heartless Summoning out we can also cast Myr Superion for free. Abyssal Persecutor is just a bomb if you can play it for two mana (still 5/5 trampling flier). Tuktuk the Explorer is not very good without Heartless Summoning, but with it on the field, he will immediately die and turn into a 5/5 (4/4) legendery golem. That for one .Shivan Wumpus: Bad without Heartless Summoning, very good with it. With HS on the field, he can easily either destroy some lands (for two mana) or be a huge danger with his trample.However, the opponent could just sacrifice a land and return him on top of my library. This could cause me not to draw further cards, but instead him.This is also the reason, why I only run two copies.

Removal

Devour Flesh is used for Abyssal Persecutor , in case I need to kill him. However, it could also help me by removing an enemy creature.Terminate: The same goes for this card. Terminate is a better removal though.

Changed a bit, let's see if it goes better.

Removed 2x Skinrender (still maybeboard) and replaced them with +1 Myr Superion and +1 Desecration Demon.

Removed 2x Tragic Slip and 4x Perilous Myr and put in 3x Terminate, 2x Mass Hysteria and added +1 Lightning Bolt.
