Improve my Magus Lucea Kane Deck

Hello all, I'm a newbie MTG player that only have 1 day of play and the players that I've played with said that I should add a lot of dual lands, mana rocks and dorks in my deck, I don't have a lot of money for any of those 0 cost mana rocks so I'm asking if there's a way that I can improve my deck? I haven't built my decklist for it yet here and what mana dorks and rocks should I add to my Temur deck? Also how many basic lands do I run? Because right now it's got 8 Forest, 7Island, and 7Mountain

Welcome to the club, euqinU

Building your deck on here will give everyone an in-depth view of where it is and what might help it grow. Simply saying you need more mana production is good, but there's not much we can do beyond listing the basic stuff that your friends have already probably mentioned: Rattleclaw Mystic, Talisman of Curiosity, Gruul Signet, and so on.

Is this for a 60-card format or a 100 card format? That basic land base is okay for a fast, aggressive 60 card deck, which would include formats like Standard or Pioneer, but is a little short for slower 60-card decks, and it's very low for 100-card formats like Commander, which tend to be in the 34-38 land range. I assume you're starting off pretty casual, but if you want a quick overview of some of the major formats, just ask.

I guess I should read the title. Is it safe to assume this is a Magus Lucea Kane Commander deck? If so, how many total lands do you have?

I have a total of 37 lands in total, I already have like 7 dual lands but they're not shock and fetch lands. I already have the full deck but I don't know if it's okay to link it here since it's on MTGGoldfish

You can copy it into the deck editor here. It's pretty common practice to have the same list on two different sites.

There are good land options outside of shocks and fetches. Depending on how much money you're willing to invest, there's the pain lands Yavimaya Coast, filter lands Cascade Bluffs or Mossfire Valley, scry temples Temple of Mystery, check lands Hinterland Harbor, slow lands Stormcarved Coast, bond lands Spire Garden, any number of simple "enters tapped" dual lands that have their own nicknames, and more. Most of these have every two-color combination, so you can get all the colors you need. Then round out with Frontier Bivouac and Ketria Triome.

This is my currently only one deck, I plan to add a Birds of Paradise Poison Dart Frog Delighted Halfling but I don't know if I have enough. Lucea Kane X-Spells

I like the recommendation but I want to stick with mana ramping so I can put in a lot of creatures as quickly as possible, the players that I've played with recommended that I should add more mana dorks, mana rocks and tutors to my deck so I don't pass on the turn without doing anything. I like the Tuktuk Rubblefort and Anger but I don't know which one I've got to remove in case I have to get those.

Welcome to both Commander and the Genestealers! I have a deck very similar to this, since the Tyranid precon is perfectly fine out of the box. On a budget, the land base is definitely top priority; I see you're not running any guild signets (Izzet, Simic, Gruul) which on top of ramp can also fix your colors depending on what color balance you end up having. On that topic, with a budget manabase, you may have to part ways with some of the more color intensive spells, as they might get stuck in your hand, and your general only produces colorless. Tribute to the World Tree, Diviner's Portent, etc. having three of the same symbol can be rough on a budget manabase. Fathom Mage is a pretty good draw engine, and you could replace a big burst draw spell with a small burst spell like Quick Study which is better early game and perfectly fine later. I also like Abundance which was in the precon. Shigeki, Jukai Visionary is a card I'm happy to draw every time I see him; he blocks, he ramps, he regrowths, he slices, he dices!

If you're looking for cuts for other cards, two that jumped out that I cut from mine are Bone Sabres and Hierophant Bio-Titan. They're alright if you're already winning, but often I'd rather have anything else than one more big creature.

Would Rhystic Study,Mystical Tutor, Archmage's Charm, and Worldly Tutor be a good addition? I'm following the advice on 3 mana so I might add it at my Simic deck.
