Soul Sisters is a pretty straight forward lifegain deck. This version adds black to capitalize on some cleric synergy as well as add in some control spells like thoughtsieze.
Turn 1: Get out a Soul Warden or Soul's Attendant. Thoughtseize is available as well to delay your opponents strategy, but its better if you can get your lifegain out early.
Turn 2: Voice of the Blessed is probably the best card here to start leveraging your lifegain into more advantage. Bitterblossom is also a good option for the same reason.Cleric of Life's Bond is nice to continue your lifegaining. And if you dont have a 2-drop you probably have multiple 1-cost life-gainers to play instead.
Turn 3: Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose is one of your win conditions and is nice early, but will probably be targeted for removal so be mindful of that if you have other options available. Ranger-Captain of Eos can get you a Giver of Runes to help protect Vito or Voice and can be sacrificed for anti-control. Wedding Announcement
provides multiple utility avenues to give time for you to snowball until eventually flipping into an anthem, a former staple of the deck, that continues your snowballing.
From here you just want to spam out as many creatures as possible to gain life. Righteous Valkyrie and Archangel of Thune are nice finishers. Sword of Light and Shadow fits the theme and gets you some of your clerics back. Ideally Martyr of Sands gets used after a Ranger of Eos or Ranger-Captain hand set up.
I'm thinking of Pulling Ranger of Eos or Archangel of Thune or Ranger of Eos out for another Vito. I'm also slightly concerned about the low land count, its been mostly fine because of low CMC, but if anyone had suggestions on what to pull out in favor of two more lands i'd consider it.
I'm also looking for sideboard suggestions.
