Orah, Skyclave Hierophant Discussion

Considering you are doing clerics and have a fair bit of life gain, I would highly recommend Righteous Valkyrie.
A very strong creature to consider is also Orah, Skyclave Hierophant. This creature will help you out a bit with recurring low cost clerics when the higher cost ones die. Very useful against sweepers as the triggers will allow you to get back more then one creature sometimes back to the field. This card pairs very well with Pyre of Heroes as another card to think of using.
For the Arena 2022 mode I would highly recommend Soulmender as it will allow you to consistently trigger life gain +1/+1 counter triggers. This pairs exceptionally well with Cleric of Life's Bond as this creature can only gain a counter once each turn, meaning you can activate the Soulmender on an opponents turn to get extra triggers you normally would not get.

And in the line of clerics, I've been enjoying this line of synergy on MTGArena if you'd care to look into it yourself:
Combine those with any number of value clerics with lower CMC and you've got a nasty brew. I'm currently pushing Diamond Tier 4 with it in Standard.
Whether you're interested in it or not I figured you would enjoy the flavor/synergy. Cheers!

Is that a 2 Chronicles reference I see? Great build as always Balaam! I'm considering building a clerics tribal EDH around Orah, Skyclave Hierophant , and while shadowborn apostles are sweet I'd prefer more variety in EDH.

sorry for my late response and thanks for your suggestions.
First: "exchange the Scoured Barrens with Shineshadow Snarl "
I've thought about it a lot, and you are right. I realy liked the aspect of getting one extra life with Scoured Barrens to trigger Cleric of Life's Bond when I don't have another cleric, or rather want to play Youthful Valkyrie . But it doesn't gives me as much tempo as Shineshadow Snarl gives me.
Second: "And I'd add more to the Baneslayer Angel s and Resplendent Marshal maybe taking out Orah, Skyclave Hierophant and Angelic Guardian s"
I swapped the one Angelic Guardian for one Baneslayer Angel - yeah, it's just the better card ...
And at the end I swapped both copies of Orah, Skyclave Hierophant for two additional copies of Resplendent Marshal . I guess Orah is for more cleric heavy decks and the mana curve looks way nicer.
Thanks again - I play this deck nearly every day and I'm really happy that it's now better than ever. :D
Have a good day~

I only have two, suggestions.
This is kinda sorta my take on an Angel deck: Anunnaki.

I only have a couple suggestions - As Mcat1999 mentioned, it’s first ability would be stronger if it said “Exile up to 3 cards...” Also, I wish it was a human cleric instead of a human advisor, to interact more with certain cards that reference clerics like Orah, Skyclave Hierophant and the party mechanic.

I think this deck lacks identity. From what you've said, you're trying to be an Orzhov lifegain deck, but there are so many cards that don't fit with that plan and/or don't bring a lot of value to the table. We should also probably just make this a Clerics deck (with Angel of Destiny), as that fits the lifegain build and packs extra synergy.
First, I think Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose should be a four-of in the deck. He's just so good in a lifegain deck. Righteous Valkyrie should probably be in here as well, as it helps gain life and provides a buff when you do. Speaker of the Heavens should also be a four-of, as it gains some small life and when you hit 27 starts really giving value! If we're going Clerics, Orah, Skyclave Hierophant is a good idea.
As for cards that don't give a lot of value, Dream Devourer , Firja, Judge of Valor , Giant Killer , Skemfar Shadowsage , Invoke the Divine , Light of Hope , Revitalize , Poison the Cup , and Pacifism all probably need to go. There are better options for what most of them do, and the rest you don't need the effects of. Doomskar too, because you're a deck that likes a full boardstate (lots of creatures) so you don't want to be wiping the board almost ever.
There were several removal options in what I pointed out. Bloodchief's Thirst and Heartless Act are good replacements, but you don't want too much removal, you should be focused on your own board most of the time.
Don't forget as well that having a list of mainly 1-2x cards won't make for a consistent deck. Ideally, you have as many of your good cards as possible.
Those are my initial thoughts. There's some value lost in the list even after those edits, but it's a good start, I think.
