Update for 12/23/16
Three round swiss 1-2 record :'(
Round 1 against boros burn 1-2
Game1: Had lethal boardstate by turn three and brought opponent down to 3. I pass with me at 4 life and he top decks a Boros Charm, lame.
Game 2: had the nuts opening hand
Insolent Neonate, Cathartic Reunion, two lands, golgari gravetroll, Collective Brutality and a Conflagrate. I turn two casted my brutality and ripped his charm, killed his dude, and drain and replace the two damage I took from my bloodcrypt. I can't stress enough how good brutality is in dredge, or in modern period for that matter. Knowing his hand I prepared for two bolts and no steam. I brought that game to a quick finish.
Game 3 I mulled down to five with an insane one land hand. I kept scryed the non land down and looted twice hitting no lands for five turns and lost.
Round two against bant Utopia Sprawl 2-0 win.
Game1 I conflagrated both his Noble Hierarch and Elvish Mystic turn two. He played a Nissa, Voice of Zendikar and I just killed it. Rally the Peasants took the win.
Game 2: I sided in Darkblast only and that took the game by storm. Killed literally every creature he played.
Round 3 played against ad nauseum 0-2 lost.
I will admit, I completely forgot that deck was a thing. It took me until he comboed off to realize he was even playing it.
Game 1 comboed out after Pact of Negation and Slaughter Pact thinking he'd lose and played that one mana you cant lose card and won.
Game 2 I ripped his one mana spell. On his upkeep he got two Lotus Blooms off of suspend. I attempted to destroy both on his upkeep to force him using the mana. He let one die and pacted the other (must have drawn it because it wasn't there when I brutalitied him ). Comboed for the win.
All in all good week, and an even better learning experience. I am very humble about losing. Personally I prefer the loses sometimes because it's better to reflect off your loses then your wins.
