In 2008 I lost my entire collection of cards (and I'd collected since Ice Age!)

This is my first deck idea since then, a modern update to the mono black insect deck I used to have.

I don't even know what the competitive scene is like anymore, how aggressive it is or how badly this would fare in anything other than casual, but I'd like ideas and suggestions for making it more seriously effective within its theme.

I want to lean towards insects, especially black insects which are seldom used as a theme, but obviously I break that rule a couple times here.

I like the idea of repeatedly recycling creatures with the help of gleancrawler, while possibly also gaining a lot of life from Luminescent Rain and the Leylines, especially if slimes and lieges are generating a lot of tokens.
