Sideboard

Maybeboard

This is a prototype budget Standard deck. As I am new to Standard, I'd like to test the waters first. The idea is to make an aggro lifegain Vampire tribal deck.

Main combo of the deck: Adanto Vanguard + Squire's Devotion . With this Aura, Adanto Vanguard becomes an unstoppable machine of death, stealing enough life with each swing to pay for its indestructibility without any additional cost. Most other cards are built around this combo, including Legion Lieutenant and Forerunner of the Legion.

All of the creatures are vampires with the exception of Oketra the True, which is another creature hugely profiting from Squire's Devotion. I was also considering the combo of Bontu the Glorified + Oathsworn Vampire , but it didn't really work in this kind of deck.

Removal: This is where I'm a bit unsure. This is more or less a budget deck so no Fatal Push for me. Right now I use a combination of slow, card advantage removal like Ixalan's Binding and Grind / Dust and faster -X/-X effects (rather undecided here between Moment of Craving and Vicious Offering).

Any feedback is most welcome! I know the deck is low on consistency, and would welcome some suggestions in that area. I'm also inexperienced with sideboarding, and would welcome some tips with that.
