That's my take on it. Modern Abzan should look like that. Who needs Rhinos anyway?
I just made some changes to the list, by the way. Commune with the Gods provides some much-needed help in digging for Doran / AssForm (man, I love that name), and Tree of Redemption is now an anti-burn SB card. I'm considering Beseech the Queen and Idyllic Tutor for additional tutoring, but both seem too expensive, even with the Caryatids to help with the mana fixing. And obviously, without Doran/AssForm in hand, this deck is nothing but a bunch of harmless overweight dudes. Any suggestions? ._.

I made a Temur List for my buddy. It's really strong. I have yet to create a sideboard but the deck is really really solid/consistent surprisingly. I wish I had some kind of cheap trample enchantment or something though.

Dude, Collected Company is a great idea. Pull out 2 Wall of Frost's right before the end of the turn, and then swing for at least 14 come your turn. I love the sound of that.

Wall of Shards is worth the cumulative upkeep if you can attack with it as an 8/8 flyer.

Siege Formation! This is my new deck based Assault Formation. First I thought about BUG, but then I started thinking about white instead of black. Wanted to know what you guys think.

Swinging with two unblocked big butts and then throwing down a Triton Tactics is just rude.
If you're doing Bant and you're generally running very low CMC on your creatures, Ojutai's Command can get waaaay more value out of the reanimation mode than it normally does. Bringing in a Dragon's Eye Savants in response to a Rhino attack, while cantripping, is solid.

Shorecrasher Elemental can spend 
, as many times as you want for a +1/+1.
It can also sped as many times as you want for a -1/-1.... lol!

@xcn - Yeah,... I'm not actually trying to advocate it. Just Brainstorming.
@ZooGambler - Interesting idea. I'm not sure if 
is the best color as far as cheap, 'large butt' creatures. But Break Through the Line, as well as removal options, are a good reason to look at .

Did you take a look at my deck? Here's a link.It works kinda well there. Red is for Anger of the Gods, walls lose to an army. An army dies to a massive plague. And Savage Knuckleblade, a fantastic win con against control which is seemingly the worst match up. I also just added in Kiora the Crashing Wave. She usually has trouble defending herself from 2 guys, but a wall and her +1? You'll get Krakens in no time.

Bant seems good. Wall of Denial. Also gives you access to Faith's Shield. Then again, I like Junk too. Just run your regular Abzan deck but chuck in Doran, Assault Formation, Sylvan Caryatid and Faith's Shield and you are good to go.

Assault Formation, the basis of the deck.
Commune with the Gods, for sort of tutoring Assault Formation.
Nyx-Fleece Ram, just because it is the BEST card in standard to work with Assault Formation.
Courser of Kruphix and Sylvan Caryatid, just because not only are these two ubiquitous and irritating cards utterly absurd on their own but just happen to work fabulously with Assault Formation.
Lagonna-Band Trailblazer and Favored Hoplite, because the deck needs one-drops.
Defiant Strike, Gods Willing, and Valorous Stance, because, well, we already have two Heroic creatures, and pump, card draw, protection, scry, indestructiblity, and removal can be had from these three sweet little cards.
Build your mana base from Forest, Plains, Windswept Heath, Blossoming Sands, and Temple of Plenty.

alanwescoat, in my playtesting, I've found that going Abzan is the most workable build. It also gives you Sidisi, Undead Vizier for tutoring, Siege Rhino for general power, and Palace Siege for a grindy alt win-con.
Nearly ran the board at game day with my build.

No worries! Yeah, I spent a while trying to figure out the right colour combo to get Ass-form to work. =)
