If you like this deck, check out my Bant version throwing-your-weight-around-bant. From actual play, and countless playtests, I have determined that the Bant version is MUCH more versatile, and dangerous!!! It answers so many more threats than the Naya version.

The concept here is to abuse the static ability of Assault Formation with low CMC creatures of high toughness to turn a defensive creature base into a high damage aggro army.

Use Satyr Wayfinder and Commune with the Gods to put your low CMC/high toughness creatures into the graveyard and boost your land count. Then use Alesha, Who Smiles at Death's ability to bring those creatures onto the battlefield attacking. Commune with the Gods lets you squeeze out that Assault Formation if you didn't get it in your opening hand. Assault Formation makes even a Nyx-Fleece Ram a fearsome opponent. These low-cost creatures are now able to inflict some early game pain on your opponent. Shape the Sands is just an evil combat trick and a super value at 1 green mana. I added Glaring Aegis for the quick one-drop boost that allows you to tap down a blocker and get more damage through. Jeskai Barricade is a super fun surprise blocker and rescue squad! Since he only costs 2 mana, you can drop an instant or two on him before damage. Oh... and how could I forget Prophetic Flamespeaker! An all star in combo with Assault Formation, he gets even better when Alesha, Who Smiles at Death puts him on the battlefield tapped and attacking for 2 mana and then dump a Shape the Sands on him!!! OUCH!
