I'm making a very nasty landfall deck so far it has out aggroed an affinity deck a few times. I was just wondering if anyone knew of some cards like Ruin Ghost or Knight of the Reliquary that can cause land fall repeatedly or just other cards that can cause a lot of lands to hit the field. (Anything out of the box is more than welcomed) Thanks for your time :)
feel free to comment on the deckland fall rush it is in its infancy so pardon the not so good description and any weak points which i would welcome having pointed out.
Once again thank you for your time. :)
Quirion Ranger
might be worth looking into to some degree. I use it in my Karametra Landfall deck.

oh yeah already running those they're great and I'm running Flagstones of Trokair which is like a fetch ,but i can still use it as a mana source till i need it for land fall which i can activate by playing another one or a ghost quarter which can also be used as a mana source until needed for landfall. great suggestion though! thankyou.:)

Summer Bloom is awesome especially early game as an accelerator and not just for landfall triggers.

I wouldn't play Oboro just for landfall if it's not in your colors. It unnecessarily weakens the manabase a little bit.
Khalni Heart Expedition is an excellent ramp card that benefits from your landfall and contributes to it as well.

yeah that is why i only run one. Its such an amazing combo engine late game with Azusa, Lost but Seeking I'd hate to see it go. and it always fills the grey of a spell.......it would pain me greatly not to do so.
khalni heart is very interesting ill definitely consider that thankyou very much!

Skarrg, the Rage Pits is the only land other than Wolf Run that gives trample. You can play Shizo, Death's Storehouse as a one-of to give your Ob Nixilis, the Fallen or Azusa, Lost but Seeking fear should you want to. Many people play Eiganjo Castle in their Geist of Saint Traft decks, so don't think this is too weird. Unfortunately, there are no other lands in your colors that grant evasion abilities, unless you count manlands turning into flyers and such.

wow Shizo, Death's Storehouse that could be very useful ,but i wish i had more legendary critters. I think ill look for more of them to put into the deck if i can find more i will definitely run that and i might just run it anyways. what are the others you know of not in my color just for future reference. I know there is a blue land that gives flying to a creature when it hits the battlefield ,but that's not very assured of a hit anyways. i can't think of any. I may be getting rid of red as a color in the deck and replace Plated Geopede with something else as well, but if i run those trample lands ill keep it..

Soaring Seacliff is that land. I wouldn't play blue lands just for the evasion unless you actually have blue cards in the deck that contribute to your landfall or synergize well with it.
Also, don't go looking for legendary creatures to make better with Shizo, Death's Storehouse . Believe it or not, right now you are getting more value with it than most lands playing that cycle ever will.

yeah I really don't want to be running anything more than 1 blue oboro. too late lol sadly I haven't found anything legendary that really fits in the deck... you are right it ain't worth shoving more legendary critters in there.

Crucible of Worlds works really well. Realms Uncharted , the land version of Gifts Ungiven . Seer's Sundial , the landfall draw mechanic. And of course, Scapeshift .

I have considered crucible of worlds ,but i have a Knight of the Reliquary in the deck that loves all that graveyard land. Scapeshift is an amazing crad though for the deck thanks! :)

I've had a few people suggest Scapeshift on my deck page too. It is an amazing card for the deck seriously thanks guys for the suggestions.

Make sure you don't put the Scapeshift label on your deck. That means something specific.
September 2, 2014 12:53 p.m.
oh yeah i guess that is a specific deck not just having the card in it.lol

I love Rampaging Baloths and Into the Wilds in my Mayael deck... and all the other typical sorceries like Kodama's Reach and Cultivate . Someone on the first page mentioned fetch lands like Marsh Flats . They're expensive as hell, but they drop 2 lands for 1 essentially.
September 2, 2014 1:05 p.m.
oh yeah the flats are already in there and besides the price will drop when those new fetches come out. Rampaging Baloths is very nice ,but im trying to make the deck a very quick aggro assault and it takes a few turns to get that guy out. i could do it around turn 4 to 5 probably, but i just want to keep the cmc under 5.

I'll be honest, the best place to look for help with your Landfall deck is in the Zendikar block, where the Landfall mechanic began. Other than that, here are some card suggestions:
- Harrow : A solid double proc for Landfall.
- Wildfield Borderpost : Always use the alternate cost.
- Nissa, Worldwaker : A great planeswalker for a deck like this.
There are many other green and white cards to help you play lands directly to the battlefield, it just depends on your preferences.

hmm well thanks ,but im really looking for permanents that can cause consistent and repeatable landfall not from my hand
